My 3 Spheroids are eyeing each other warily as they wait for Mr. MicroStick to arrive, trying to figure out how to screw the other two out of the coveted spot.

I'm waiting for shipping as well...but I have a Mini Gen coming also and I didn't get on the list until later in the sign up procedure and did not upgrade to EMS shipping. It's exciting to hear they are starting to arrive as it means we haven't much longer to wait..
I ordered November 8th. I was probably one of the last orders, as the following day it was out of stock.

Today we will talk about several things:
- news from the production
- known issues for the second run
- stuck packages
News from the production
First of all, sorry for the delay. There was a coincidence of private problems of several key persons and an anodising delay.
Now all of this is solved, so we are moving again. So here is a short startus.
MiniGens are fully ready.
Extenders are fully ready.
MicroSticks are being assembled right now and they have to be ready by tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow the orders will be packed. Friday and Saturday are a weekend in Israel, so on Sunday the orders will be shipped.
During the assembling we examine the buttons in the MicroSticks. Currently it looks like we have enough buttons, but if there will be many faulty, several orders won't be shipped on Sunday.
Right now it's impossible to say if all will be shipped on Sunday or several will remain. In this case, older orders will have a priority.
Known issues for the second run

1.Small white marks or chips on the MicroStick's black finish
There can be 2 reasons for white "marks" on the MicroStick:
1. The mark can be easily removed. Just rub it with hand.
2. Anodizing problem. Then see below.
If the mod is painted, there are no "marks" (though the painting can easily get off the mod).
But if the mod is anodized (like the MicroStick), then small marks are a part of technology.
In the first run we had marks on the bottom cap, now they are often more visible.
The "mark" is left in the place where the MicroStick was fixed while hanging during the anodizing.
These mods cannot be rejected by Chels as not passed quality control since currently they are considered to be "normal".
The anodizing is one a few operations performed by subcontractor, so right now there is nothing we can do about it.
In the next run Chels will try to force the subcontractor to avoid these "marks".
If we have put this requirement on the anodizer in advance, we could reject those.
For the first run, it was done well even without an explicit requirement.
We will avoid this problem in the next run.
The MicroStick with small marks is fully functional. These marks will not get worse or bigger.
To improve the MicroStick visually you can use a black permanent marker.
The MicroStick is so small that even a tiniest problem on the surface is visible.
2. MicroStick is not firing
There are 2 possible root causes:
1) the battery is too short.
Solutions:
- add a magnet
- use 18500 batteries with pin
- slightly unscrew the screw in the button
2) the connector for the atty has no connection to the conductor inside the extender
Solution:
- press on the brass atty connector inside the MicroStick. Press just once with a screwdriver, for example.
Stuck packages
We have noticed that quite often the package is shown as exported on Israel post site, but even after several days it's still not shown on the site of your national post.
It can be stuck on Israel site, or with status "Exported" or even with status "Import" in your country. So far we have seen 8 days of being stuck as a maximum.
Probably, you need to start worry about it if it's not moving for 10 days.
Israel post accepts disputes for the standard shipping only 1 month after the shipping date, so there is no way to speed up the shipping from our side.

The one delivered to Sunnyvale was ordered 10/1, so it was shipped also earlier.
The assembling of the MicroSticks is finalized. We will ship them tomorrow.
Unfortunatelly, several buttons haven't passed the quality control, so we won't be able to ship all orders tomorrow.
All orders below #800 are in safe. They all were placed before 11/7.
A part of the buttons need just a small polishing, so several more orders will be shipped soon.
The additional delay for the last 5-6 orders is about 2 weeks which we need to make additional buttons. They will be shipped before the Christmass, but there are more or less no chances that they will be delivered before the Christmas.
If your order is above #800, please consider if you want a refund. We are sorry about all these problems and delays.
On Sunday we will reach the 99% level of the orders completition, but the last 1% as always is the hardest.
Congrats to lucky ones who will receive the tracking ID tomorrow!
