I'm just waiting for mine to make it to Canada, it left Israel on a plane to here three days ago according to my tracking.

You helpful folks are one of the reasons why I enjoy visiting ECF so much.

Put your positive of the multimeter on center pin of the 510 connection then touch the negative anywhere else on the atty (or the negative post) and check the reading. It should be pretty close to that 2.1

Apologies if I weren't clear, that was how I checked the resistance to begin with as my SVD died on me .....when it rains, it pours...

take switch off, take batt out. put atomizer in. now read resistance by putting positive probe on brass piece in bottom where batt + would make contact, and negative probe on body of atomizer. should read 2-2.1 ohm. it does? if so it should be ok. it doesn't and reads 0 or much less then 2.1ohm? it is either a short in connection or in MS.

Now take atomizer out. put positive probe in same spot. negative probe to either brass threading... or to edge of 510 connection on MS (ground/return). it should read open. if it does read open, 510 connection is shorting to ground of atomizer, and it is connection. if it reads a short, the MS is bad and will need disassembly to isolate or return to fix.

Here's my story:

Jan. 6 Ordered, #1484.
Feb. 6 Shipped by EMS.
Feb. 9 According to Israel Post sent by airmail to the US
Feb. 11 Shows up on USPS site with notations "Registered Mail" and undated "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment"
Feb. 13 Today, still hasn't changed at all on USPS.

Does this mean it's sitting in customs? Lost? Just wondering where it is....

It takes about 4-5 days to change status, in my experience. Usually 8-10 days from overseas to my door.
