Same here. 1st gen US. Parents were from former Yugoslavia. Grandparents from Ukraine. I'll say no more about both histories.
Russia is neck-deep in it. This is all about Russia trying to keep Ukraine on a leash, while the US and Europe sit on their hands, making empty threats.
That is such an interesting thought, because you are right, if they had, you wouldn't have today's situation. I had to look it up... the Ukraine REFUSED to join NATO, they had the option (from WIKI):
Plans for Ukrainian membership to NATO were shelved by Ukraine following the 2010 Ukrainian presidential election in which Viktor Yanukovych was elected President.[4] President Yanukovych opted to keep Ukraine a non-aligned state.[5] This materialized on June 3, 2010 when the Ukrainian parliament excluded, with 226 votes, the goal of "integration into Euro-Atlantic security and NATO membership" from the country's national security strategy.[6] "European integration" is still part of Ukraine's national security strategy and co-operation with NATO was not excluded.[6] Ukraine considers its relations with NATO as a partnership.[7][8] Ukraine and NATO still hold joint seminars and joint tactical and strategical exercises and operations.[9][10]
According to numerous independent polls conducted over the past few years,[11][12][13][14][15][16] Ukrainian public opinion on NATO membership is low, with the majority against joining the military alliance and about 40% associating NATO as a threat.[17]
Russia's reactions to the 2008 plan of the (then) Ukrainian Government to join MAP were hostile. A NATO spokesman said that despite Russian reactions towards NATO's eastward expansion the alliance's door remained open to those who met the criteria.[18]
Yes . . .not to take away from the importance of what's going on in Ukraine . . but don't want to bury this thread so deep that Little Donkey doesn't see that there is possibly something very wrong with the finish on the new microsticks. I'm hoping for a comment . .at least a confirmation that the finish is supposed to be really fragile . .in which case I definitely don't understand the hardness claims made on the website.
Sorry for the delay Bosco, just finally checking in, been a long day! I did wipe it down and looked better but still has that grayish/whitish finish to it. I know it is a satin black but the top and bottom look different from the sides. I did get it from vaperev and it included the spring. The other screws and pin are for the extension piece. I have not used it yet or set it up, got sidetracked last night!! I am about to go take a picture of it along with the extension and see if any better today. I also need to check the extension piece and see how the finish is on it too, haven't done that yet! That's a bummer with the deep scratches you have already gotten from one day use!! I'll report back after some dinner and with a picture!

That's so weird . .mine is a perfect satin-black . ..except I could remove the finish with a piece of sandpaper if I wanted . . . .
Thanks for the response. I also sent a mail to VapeRev asking if this is correct or possible defect . . .we shall see.
edit . .I just checked to see if I could scratch it with my fingernail . . .yep. Not as deep as the key scratches, of course . .but permanent.

That totally blows. Mine is currently stuck in CO. Have you tried contacting Little Donkey through the website? Seems I remember her saying that was the best way to reach them.
No - that's a good idea. I contacted VapeRev since that's where I bought it - but if I don't hear back from them within a few days I'll contact them through the mini-ecig site directly.
Since it's a manufacturer defect, I'd do it now.
edit: and then the rest of us will know what to do if ours end up the same as yours.
Well, here are a couple pics of the Microstick tonite. The extender is appears to have a perfect finish compared to the main mod. Took a Sophia/Slim Tank and a 350 battery and this baby is very very compact! Hit very nicely! I am a little concerned about the finish as with what happened with Bosco's and mine right out of the box, I am skeptical at the moment!! I think I will contact vaperev as well with a picture as it arrived and see what they say! Bosco, will you post a pic of yours with the scratches? Could I get a couple other owners post a pic of theirs from some normal use, please?

finish definitely looks different between zbeasts and callmecletus. More powdery on the former.
