+1 for the thread that already exists I posted a review of my Tobeco clone on there, GL I think both are decent choices, and I'm happy with mine.
I'll be happier when I get my elusive Microstick, still patiently waiting donkey... can we get some more pics? It seems to pacify me
OK, I broke down and ordered a MicroStick this evening. I had to drop out of the last run so I'm pretty excited to be in again. What is a mech anyhow? (Joke)
The Xplora by Phoenix House of Mods is very similar to the Spheroid (won't say clone) but with a looser draw.
Build quality is excellent with 316SS - also comes with a dripper attachment.
Good Idea, never really gave it a thought because I don't have a drill press/vise but I do have a dremel... Oh boy, look out!!!
Yes, I guess there are a few.
I had a Gus Aiolos as part of a trade a month or so ago - but I'd already fettled the Spheroid to be a bit more airy - ended up that I liked the Spheroid well enough, that I decided to sell the Gus on to someone else.
The Spheroid is hard to beat I reckon. That said - there's plenty of vapers out there that have similar kit and they're well pleased with 'em too.
Just a thought for anyone who already has any of these type of attys - if the draw is a bit tight, setting about opening the air intakes slowly and gradually is an "option"...

One thing I was thinking of regarding the Spheroid was replacing the fill with cellucotton (I am using it as a wick currently and it kicks cottons ayuss) but think that it might make a pretty great fill for the Spheroid? Has anyone tried this? I haven't (yet...)

You'd maybe get better replies to this type of Q on the GP forum under the Spheroid section. Personally I've not used cellucotton (or heard of it either before now...). Also, wouldn't want Chels to think his forums being hijacked... He might delay delivery of my next MicroStick!!!...

With our current knowledge the production of the current run will be mostly finished in beginning of July. Then we'll need several days to pack the orders.
Shipping of orders placed in April and May will be performed 10-15 of July.
The store support is limited from 21/06 (Saturday) till 08/07 (Tuesday) due to vacation time. Anyway we'll try to answer all questions within 72 hours during that time.
The production is ongoning and it will not be impacted anyhow. We'll keep posting photos, etc.

No thread hijacking... lol I just asked here since the spheriod is what the majority of Microstick owners (like myself) seem to run on it and that is the ONLY mod that I run it with... I'm just providing filler (get it) until we get to see the production pics that we are all waiting for... edjutainment... lol [emoji3]
Remember the ecf mantra... pics or it didn't happen... lol.

Yeah, the hijack comment was made ever so slightly tongue in cheek... But - returning to your original question on cellucotton (which I've seen in other recent strings). Comments I've seen suggest that it will hold the liquid (making for a good wick), but won't release the liquid (making it a poor filler).
Also - I agree. Pics of the MS are happening - lovely..... I'd have hoped we might see something on the new atty by now too... Maybe in the coming week?...

I see broader chatter as more of keeping the interest alive until such a time that there are enough products out and made to keep the thread going and interesting. Batteries, and other parts for the MS are very much on topic in my book - but tis only one opinion.
I just ordered mine last, so I'm sure it is going to be a long time until I receive it. Regardless, I'm glad this thread is here and active so I can learn a bit about the Microstick from actual users, and learn what attys current users are running. Thanks!
I am also awaiting my second ms. I am using a Spheroid, Sophia atty in a slim tank byLeo, and I actually have a carto stuck in a 15mm Ibtanked tank for "emergencies"!! Lol
I did get the kayfun mini that Chadsmo mentioned a couple pages back but have been extremely busy and haven't even set it up yet but appears to be well made!!

I heard one person had an issues with their Kayfun mini clone. It had some kind of bur on the deck and the screw wouldn't go in right. They were able to file the bur off and now it works.
I got a Gus Aiolos with my MS and I didn't like it. I'm finding I'm using my MS a lot more than I thought I would. It's a nice device and I really like the smallness of it.

No such plans yet, but I guess an SS version would be really heavy.
