I will back out of this thread now because there seems to be very little accountability, just justification.

I hope you reconsider backing out, Marc. I think your presence here, especially now, is good for everyone (even Mini, in the long run).

Not all companies have zero issues. Even innokin does. But they take care of those issues.

You will see a relatively serious issue discussed, and see exactly what the manufacturer has done to resolve it. Very aggressively, with no consideration given to anything other than the fact that there were problematic units already in some customers' hands.

Mark, we now work on other oppportinities about handling of faulty items. Anyway speind a half day to fetch a faulty item is simply impossible. It might make one person happy and dozens customers unhappy. The short answer is that we'll try to find another way to handle faulty items.

As for the tracking information, I believe it is unfair to put responsibility for USPS tracking (in US) on supplier.
We said that the shipping will be tracked. It's a standard shipping and we provided tracking ID.
We provide different shipping options. Some are cheaper, some are more expensive. As a result you can select a different level of shipping service.
EMS works just fine. The only pronlem is the price. Now I read your proposal as exclude cheaper shipping option since it's slow and have incomplete tracking information. People choose it because it is cheaper and I don't think we need to prohibit this.
Anyway items shipped internationally are handled by national postal services. They are different in different countries including differnt policy about tracking. It's not only about US, since we ship to many countires. For example, I know that EMS is not the best option for Spain, since it's more or less the same as regular shipping. Then we can consider DHL for example, though the price is even higher. I believe that the customers should know what is the best shipping option for them and choose it.

As for the 510 threading, I know for sure that the 510 connection is a standard conenction but... When we started making our first mods, we were fully following the standard and to our surprise, there were plenty of atties which couldn't be screwed into the mod with 510 connectior made exactly to the standard.

So in practice, the connector is made in such a way that it has a big tolerance. In this exact case, I can't see what is wrong to that threading. All I have is that the atty can be screwed in one mod and has problems with another which means that obviously threads in these 2 mods are different.
The simplest solution would be to replace the base in the MiniDrip, but there are no spare items and we don't have them. I can offer a discount for any further order as a compensation. This wouldn't be a problem for Merkava atties - we would ship a replacement base. But MiniDrip is unavailable any longer. If SVrider contacts us, we'll arrange that.

Kat, you propose wholesaling only and skip the fact that resellers take items they are interested in.
We don't have resellers in each country. And they don't have all our products.
As for having good and bad reviews, I agree that it's sad to get bad feedback. But when somebody spends own time on doing this I believe that they try to make us better and I appreciate this.

For example, we have different reviews on MicroSticks and XvoSticks (most are positive):
XvoStick (in stock) - Mini ECIG
MicroStick Black (shipping in 2 weeks) - Mini ECIG
They are located in our store so in fact we have a full control over them.
But we never edited or removed even a single review (maybe changed some aggressive words with *** but not more than that). Doesn't matter if it's positive or not, if it's fair or not. Our customers deserve to have a full information and see different opinions.

The only thing I can say is that we try to make good mods and try to make the service better. It's an iterative process though.

I am not posting to add fuel to the fire but I have 2 microsticks ( 1 that works fine and 1 that is shelved because I gave up on it!! The issue with firing and backing the connector out a "bit" yada yada yada....too much fiddling!) I was directed their website for their "simple" fix but my feelings were that why should I have to repair it as I am not much of a service tech and not my production issue!! Anyway, I have moved on and the reason for this post is that I have a stepson in the Israeli army and even an envelope to Israel from the US has averaged 45-60 days!! His birthday was November 7th and we sent him a card on October 7th and he just received last week...60 days. I feel for all those suffering from no responses, lack of communication, etc. and hope you all get the service you deserve!!
Lil Donkey, I will add that I order alot from Greece and standard shipping is usually 7-10 days and DHL Express is 2-4 days....quicker at times than domestic shipping....and quite reasonable as well, just FYI.

I am on a roll.....I have followed this thread from day 1 and read all post although I have not posted in quite a while. It really is disturbing to see all the issues and as I have wanted to try some of the new stuff from Chels, the responses tell me otherwise!! I only subscribe to a handful of threads and hope to see things improve but I will remain sidelined for the time being and be reminded each time I visit my workstation and see my microstick with extended base gathering dust!!

It is easier and faster to repair it at your place, that is why we asked you to do it by yourlesf. We thought that you managed to solve the problem as there were no requests from you after.

I had that anodizing problem too and yes, it was too much fiddling ... I did it anyway because for me personally it was simpler than fiddling it back to Israel.

Holding my dear little Microstick in my hand, considering the beautiful design and the excellent engineering that went into it (well, minus the anodizing ...) - it is so very sad to see excellent products and not so excellent customer service. This is just sad. I very much hope that Chels can improve it somehow.

By the way - you offer the MicroDrip for subscription - I subscribed - but it never reaches another status than subscription and no more info for subscribeers?

I am very sorry that you had troubles with the MicroStick, good news that you managed to repair it by yourself.
I accept the negative feedback and we do try to make the customer service better.
If you are subscribed for stock updates, you'll get a notification when item arrives. Unfortunatelly I should say that a new run of the MicroDrips is not in plans yet.

I LOVE your mods, Chels!! Holy cow are they beautiful. If i had the cash, I would buy the little mechanical MicroStick right now! I will definitely keep the MicroStick and XvoStick in my heart and on my mind. I'm always looking to expand my vapeocalypes gear, and my mod collection, sitting on top of my vapeocalypes underpants side-table-drawer... I hope to someday, own some higher quality mods, and, yours have definitely jumped from unknown, to the TOP of my want list. Absolutely beautiful mods, Chels. You are definitely an artist, & an innovator, and I think anyone would be very lucky to own one of your perfect little pocket devices.

And whether they last three months or 10 years, there are four XvoSticks on this planet that won't ever be sold (two Kat's, two mine). Had the clone for about a week. The authi's blow them away.

I hope you manage to snag one too.

Plumes, they cost only 50 $ now (as opposed to ... I think 129 when I bought it). So not quite so unrealistic.

yeah no, i'm just... I'm unemployed due to health problems, with no income.. so, collecting mods has been a struggle for me from the very beginning of my vaping. but, I struggle and I scrape and save, and when I really really want a new mod, I wind up with it... it may take me 5 months to save $50, but it's all worth it when that mod gets to my mailbox & I open it up & enjoy it. :) I loveee collecting. I have a ton of cheap mods that are now all broken and messed-up -- but the mods that I save-up for (my provari, my reo) have absolutely nothing wrong w/ them! I know that Chel's mods are the exact same way. Love them so much.
