For what it's worth, my xvostick quit working after a couple months of use, the part where the screen is, is coming out. Mines from vapinart but I haven't contacted them, maybe time to try and bring it back to life as it is to expensive to not try but it shouldn't have fell apart so quickly.

VERY sorry, @rockstarr, and I won't make any long-term plans with mine. Have you reached out to them for support yet? I know the idea of shipping it back is not fun, but if they're willing to stand behind it....

Are you referring to the threaded brass bushing that is press fit into the aluminum body?

DPL and I discussed your issue, rockstarr, and that's precisely the part of the device to which I thought you were referring. I have no klue why that is loosening up. Do you know how it's attached? Is it glued?

I'm not sure if the boards dead or not but it's not showing any signs of life... The board being dead would be a first for me on a DNA 40, I have quite a few of them and they all still work so I'm guessing somethings not connecting inside. Anywho it's been sitting here dead for a couple months now.

I'm not sure Kat, I can't see any signs of glue or any screws..the bottom of it is still attached to something?

I know that Mini has said over and over that the board belongs under the purview of Evolv. Have you by chance contacted them? Or Mini, for that matter?

I hate to see these gorgeous mods just falling apart after a couple of months. This is making me beyond sad (translate: furious).

I bought it from vapinart and no I haven't contacted them..yet, I'm guessing they'll fix it for a cost...Ill post once I hear back from them. I agree for the price they should not be coming apart although I do miss it for its form factor when traveling, my new Heron v2 would make the perfect air travel mate.

Good call, Kat - precisely as you had predicted. And I'm sorry, but if that piece jutted out (as it clearly has), I don't consider that to be an Evolv issue, but one for Mini. That piece is part of the mod, and the mod is a Mini.

Thanks for letting us know about it, @rockstarr, and I do hope @LittleDonkey flies in here at some point.

And I also hope that Mini changes their marketing to target modders. This mod is appearing to be similar to a race car. It may require a mechanic on hand, and it should be marketed as such (if that is the case). And the determining factor is how well they stand behind it.

@rockstarr, I must suggest that you reach out to VapinArt and Mini, with the pictures, and see what kind of support you get. At least give them the chance to respond accordingly/properly. You spent too much money to just let it die.

Hello everyone, just got off the phone with Vapinart and they told me to contact the modder. Great! Guess I will chalk it up to being dead after all based on what I've read here.. The sad part is I'd buy 3or4 of these if quality and CS where up to par.
