I thought that I read about someone having this issue, but I don't remember reading a solution.
I have the control head in some rice as we speak. Im sure it has to do with using the evic in cold weather and the heat from vaping is causing slight water buildup.
I've had mine in cold and hot weather never had moisture.

you should definitely troubleshoot if its juice leaking into it from the ego connection.
if thats the case it'll be dead within the year. submit a case with your vendor if you find that to be true.

I never thought about juice leaking from the tank. I do use vivi novas and they really dont leak at all. However, on the bottom of the 510 connector there was a lil bit of juice residue. If it dosen't go away with the rice, maybe I should contact the vendor. I kinda feel bad because its really not their fault.
That's because it is not a perfect system, less software design, more hardware to protect hardware!

In my clear drip-tips, as in all of ours I'm sure, I've noticed condensation all the time. Yet the screen is below the well, so this isn't it. Do you palm it alot? Maybe hand sweat is getting in the seams? I hope it isn't e-liquid, though I can't see un-atomized juice doing much condensing.
That rice goes up in value with some of the higher end electronics it has saved!
Yea I palm it. The problem has disappeared with 2 hours of rice though so I'm happy!

Mine's a little foggy. Not bad, and it barely even looks like condensation.. But the screen is a bit blurry.
Hi I had the same problem, try everything from contact with Joyetech people who responded by mail to me because I used Vivi Nova and not those of Joyetech can not help me, so try the rice and everything else that you recommended but nothing worked here so I was able to fix the problem is to sound funny but my 3 year old son dropped the evic of the bed to the floor and the top of the head (510 connection) broke off, which happened already others who dropped their evic, fortunately the cables soldiers from the connection to the circuitry is not broke, then I dry the condensation and with a bit of epoxy leave everything as new, so thanks to a disaster, I could get the solution to my initial problem, and now the evic is like straight out of the box and running at 100%, so son, thanks for dropping to the floor the evic Hahaha ..

I use a sealed 510 to 510 adapter to protect the threading and battery connection.
man you guys got me all worried with my evic now lol.. might have to get this adapter too just in case!
Never found the need. I always check how my different addy's/tanks fit and am cautious about how i attach anything to any of my devices. Only one I've ever been concerned about is my YJ lavatube. 510 fitting seems to be aluminum and poorly made.(still working after 7 months)
My only suggestion, and this would be for any device, is if using a Tank get a tank support and learn to properly set it up. This provides great stability without having to OVER TIGHTEN the tank to the device.
What is a tank support? I'm still a noob.
I'm careful with my tanks too so threading isn't my major concern here. My protank leaked a bit from the bottom post from what I think was a wonky head. Served it's purpose for me when I needed it.
