I think every party did :/

You just need to vote for the MP, and not the party. They're the ones who represent you, and who should be listening to your concerns.

You've got it backwards. Even if I hate the local candidate, my priority is getting the right guy (or girl) in the driver's seat.

Don't you just love the system? 60% of the people out there that voted actually voted against the party that gets in. That's Canada.

It's disgusting.

What a disappointment that so many Liberals went waaaay to the right. Our country will suffer for many years due to this travesty.

Harper kept talking about "values" instead of "policies". And we all know what his values are;

"In the 1950s, buggery was a criminal offence. Now it's a requirement to receive benefits from the federal government."
- Yorkton-Melville Conservative MP Garry Breitkreuz commenting on same sex benefits, The Leader-Post, March 3, 2000.

“I'm not ashamed to say that, in caucus, I have more pro-life MPs supporting me than supporting Stockwell Day.”-Stephen Harper 2000

"The fact is that homosexuals aren’t barred from marrying under Canadian law... Marriage is open to everybody as long as they’re a man and a woman."
- Conservative MP Jason Kenney, Punjabi Editorial Board Interview, January 30, 2005.

I am ashamed to have these loonies as our leaders
