Being that it is halloween and I had a whole bag of it, I tried using the fake spiderweb stuff that you pull apart to hang. I must say that it wicked pretty darn good. When it was done, it wasn't bone dry but you could not squeeze any juice at all. Lasted a LONG time. Not sure what exactly the stuff is - hell it might not even be safe - but it seemed to work. I personally won't be using it all the time because I primarily drip a 510, but just a heads up for someone if they want something REALLY cheap to try.

My niece tried this and brought me one to try...it wicks well.

The pad is made of blend of rayon, polyester, and cellulose. I have no idea if it is safe or not, though. Any one know????

Well, i did a little research... Rayon is in many synthetic articles of clothing, socks, hats, etc.. a quote from some science article, "Another fabric is Rayon. When burning Rayon melts into a glob, and melts until the flame is out and not burning."

We are all familiar with polyester, no need to really go there

Cellulose, "For industrial use, cellulose is mainly obtained from wood pulpcotton. It is mainly used to produce cardboard and paper; to a smaller extent it is converted into a wide variety of derivative products such as cellophane and rayon" (Wikipedia).

So the only thing that would "erk" me would be the rayon a tad...but then again, so does getting a nasty inhale of any fiber with the ecig...

My first post here...............I use Lamb's Wool, available at most drugstores. It's all-natural with nothing else added and completely washable (but you shouldn't need to do this, as a bag will last you a lifetime). AmericaRx sells a 3/8 oz. bag for $2.42. It's used mainly by ballet dancers to stuff in the ends of their toe shoes. Looks like the poly-fill material but with no artificial materials you wouldn't want to ingest. Holds e-juice perfectly!
