The news in Philly today repeated the results of a Lehigh Univ. study on obesity as being a greater problem than smoking. Must have been a little slow on the uptake since the print media has had the story for over a week. Productivity losses and medical costs far out distance the smoking costs- over $220b vs $188b. The new war heats up.

It appears that the author if offended that the same tactics that were used against smokers for decades are now being used against the overweight. The blueprint has been written. The need for taxation has been established. The development of new drugs and profits for the Pharma industry is now there.
