My mortgage agent told me that if they had to pay off if something happened to hubby and if the autopsy showed lung,
throat or stomach cancer, they would do a blood test for nicotine (I assume she meant cotine)
She said, If they want to, they do do one without any symptoms of anything. It's their right.
So to be safe, I told her he "uses nicotine so take off the non-smokers discount"
Better to pay $2 more a month then be denied $150K benefits, IMO.
That's just what she told me, so no clue if all companies do it that way.
