I had to stretch my spring and it took care of that. Only when I put it down with excess force is it an issue. Of course, my ProVari has it playing second fiddle now....

Lol, I sprung for a provari very early on. Then there was some egos, I liked them, they broke, I went back to my provari. Then the vamo came out, I liked them, I still do, I broke one and I don't carry the other around because I am unreasonably hard it would seem on my daily devices, so back to the provari. Then I got an evic, well I told that story:) Next I wanted to jump on the mechanical bandwagon, so I purchased a poldiac off tHe classifieds, its really a beautiful mod. Too pretty to be subject to daily driver abuse:) so its here at home and I play around with it every now and then, but mostly I use the provari. Now m waiting on a svoemesto nivel chip unit mainly because I love their attomizers. But I really think ill stop after this, unless something revolutionary comes about. I'm probably not very different than a lot of people, there is always something new , or lots of new something's. It seems there is always another device that I think I want to try, but I can't see my trusty provape device ever being far from heavy rotation. The longest was probably about a month with the first vamo, until I broke it. I still would reccommend a vamo to someone if that was the price range they wanted to be in, great device for the money and more importantly if you can be reasonably gentle with it; but for anyone who knows their daily driver will take a beating, recommending a provari is just saving them money;)

Ops eVic had a defective head. Should have been warrantied and yes Joyetech handles warranty defects.

For others complaining of turning off - Sitting it down hard is 99.9% the problem. Slightly stretching the spring a tad stops 99.% of this problem. Joyetech has addressed both issues in continued releases.

Congrats Op on your new Provari - great device.

Still don't understand why so many Provari owners have to talk down every other mod on the market.

I looked into the recall that Joyetech put out, but it was for a certain string of serials and mine was not in them. :( As far as it shutting off, I have the Siam Mod tube and battery cap with a super stiff spring and mine still turns off all of the time. I dunno....

I didn't HATE my evic, but I can definitely tell that the provari is a superior product! Heck, I haven't hated any of my mods really, even down to my eGos! They were great! I just craved some of the features of more advanced mods. That's all. :)

Hey, "It's Only Me".... is it out for delivery this morning? :)

Well I still like my evic, still works fine, but I think sometime after I get my provari I will look into the tube mods that are out there for the evic. I find I do like the vw options for it, and who knows after a while, they could come out with a improved control head, that is not made out of plastic, the easy head for it, looks like it is a metal housing. I don't think it would be to hard for them to do that. I still don't have my provari yet, but I don't think, just because I get one, that I will start hating my evic, I think at first it will just become my back up, and if I get some of the tube mods who knows.

Funny you ask. I just walked back into the house with a box that was in my mail box. Didn't even open it yet.
What am I doing typing when I could be unwrapping my new ProVari???:headbang:
Thanks for asking.

I have a ProVari I bought after owning an eVic. I still love my eVic.

I love my ProVari more, and I can tell you precisely why if you are interested. This makes me an eVic hating ProVari fanboi/troll/nazi according to some people.

Get a ProVari as soon as you can. You won't regret it.

I am waiting on my e-mail confirmation right now! I would have paid for next day air, if the site would have let me. I guess at least I am getting the free shipping, but I would rather have it tomorrow rather then later. Plus with the holiday, coming up I am not sure when I will get it.
