I'm about to place my first order and am curious if getting extra flavor shots is recommended. I'm looking at the butter toffee, udderly nuts, pie crust, pineapple peach and salted carmel. On most, I was thinking 2 extra shots. Am I over doing it?

Also, any recommendations are always appreciated. I generally don't like icky sweet juice and tend more towards sweet and savory type flavors.

I use Mt. Baker Vapor e juice and have the Peach tobacco 80/20 PG/VG @ 18% nic. I got it with no extra flavor shots. It's very, very nice. If I were to go up in VG content, I'd get it with more flavor.

I don't think you could go wrong with a stiffer flavor from Mt. Baker, because the flavor is SO good.

Remember to steep, especially the tobacco flavors.

Good luck, can't go wrong with Mt. Baker....

Cool, thx for the input. It's much appreciated. With steeping, are we talking days, weeks, longer?

Yes, yes, and yes. Depends on the juice, really. I keep a couple of bridgeless attys handy and drip periodically as the juice matures to see how it's coming along before I fill something with it. It's not a question easily answered, as people have different tastes also. If you don't want to drip, 2 weeks is a safe bet for most anything probably. Some will taste fine right out of the gate, though!

Hes talking about flavor shots Rocket (surprised you didn't recommend butterscotch already :vapor:). Imo, if you have 50% or more VG, go for 2 flavor shots. Else, stick with 1 flavor shot. If you ever get a liquid from them that 'could' taste very good, but its too overpowering, you'll know to go for 0 flavor shots next time around. That hasn't happened to me yet tbh, but I suspect tastebuds are extremely subjective and different people may consider 'overpowering' to mean different things.

As far as steeping goes, most of the stuff I have got from them (I don't vape tobacco flavors) has been good straight out of the bottle. They do indeed get better with age, don't get me wrong, but I have yet to experience that perfume, alcohol, vomit, or just plain 'off' taste some people complain about regarding freshly mixed juices.

I feel obligated to retract my former statements about punching up the flavor of butterscotch.

I vaped so much of it that I stopped tasting it, so I went and got flavoring, as well as bumping up all my 'scotch juices to 3 flavor shots. No wonder it tasted funky after that.

Hey, er'body. Rocketpunk is officially stating that butterscotch only needs 1 flavor shot. Not 3. Or the ten drops of extra flavor I added to each bottle... Leaned my lesson.

Don't blank with perfection!

Ok, so here is what I have so far...

Big ol' bottle of Butter Toffee (our ADV has been English Toffee from Blue Mist).

Small bottles of the following;
Udderly Nuts
Pie Crust
Bananas Foster
Nutella
Salted Caramel

As you can see, I am a fan of the bakery/sweets type of flavors. I would like to branch out a little though, so with this in mind, can anyone recommend a good fruit flavor to try from Mt. Baker?
