Sweetener Electronic Cigarette Flavoring

The only one I've tried before and am buying again is the Ruby Red Grapefruit. I LOVE this stuff. Can't wait to see how it tastes with the extra flavor shots. Added the Sweetener after reading y'all talk about how helpful it's been for making a flavor suit you.

If any of you have tried the others, I would love your opinions and suggestions for steeping. And now... the vapemail wait begins. Hehe.

Just placed another order:... I would love your opinions and suggestions for steeping...[/B]
I copied posts from earlier in the thread with steeping suggestions:
There are three basic methods that I know of. Some have used the microwave, with varying success...but I've personally never tried it.
Traditional: Shake the bottles vigorously for a full minute. Remove the cap and dripper tops (keep track of them so that you can put them back on the correct bottle) and leave them open overnight. Replace the dripper tops and caps, shake, repeat. From the third day, you can just shake them a couple times per day.
Hot water steep: Boil water in a pan on the stove. Remove the pan from the stove and let the water cool for a few minutes (you don't want to melt the bottles). Put a rubber band around the bottles with the caps and dripper tops removed. Set the bottles in the hot water and leave them until the water reaches room temperature. Replace the dripper tops and caps and shake the bottles again. Some are able to vape at this point, some flavors may require further steeping.
Ultrasonic Cleaner steep: Put your bottles (with caps on) in the carrier or reservoir. Fill the reservoir with hot tap water. Run the UC for full cycles (most have timers that limit how long they can run) until the bottles have half an hour to a full hour of run time. Some will remove the caps and dripper tops overnight after the UC steep.
It's always a good idea to shake your juice bottles before dispensing the liquid into your delivery device. Good Luck!

Nice summary. The only thing I would add is to put your bottles in a ziplock bag rather than into the water directly to preserve your lables.

Don't forget what is probably the most common method-- Shake it like crazy when you first get it. Open the cap and smell it. Taste test it a little on your hand. If it's pretty good, put some in a clearo/carto/tank and a try it. If it's good, vape it. If it's not awful/not that good/not as good as you had hoped, shake it again, re-cap it, and put it in the back of the drawer. Shake it again, whenever you think of it. Pull it out again in a couple of weeks. Begin again at "Open the cap and smell it." Repeat as necessary.
Hope this helps...

I've been looking at Orange dream bar every time I order but haven't tried it yet - I think I may have to give it whirl, though. I ordered an orange creamsicle from somewhere else, that I liked, but didn't love. I think MBV is going to think I have issues - right now, I seem to be ordering within a day or two of getting my order - I just can't help it. :)

I just have to say it... What I think is hilarious (if it wasn't so stupid) is the anti-vaping people who claim that we adults don't crave or want the multitude of flavors that are offered.

I'm sorry, LOL, I'm 40+ and I feel like a kid in a candy store! I'm having a blast trying all these flavors. :vapor:

-----

I got the steeping methods down now. Haven't tried them all, but I'm thinking about the warm water one. What I was asking, though, is for anecdotal opinions on steeping for each flavor I purchased; if someone has tried them and found a sweet steep spot. Hehe

Ok all of these are 50/50 pg/vg, 24mg, no extra flavor shots, born on date of 3/29, 24 hour steep caps off, 1.6ohm coil genesis atty.

Octo Cooler, is still a bit perfumy tasting on the inhale, very good orange aftertaste. At first I wasn't getting the Cooler part but I can feel it now after a few drags. I have high hopes for this one if the perfumyness goes away. Very strong throat hit at 4.1v. I might like this one too much I have given myself nicups(nicotine hiccups) chain vaping it. Towards the end of that ml I was not getting as much perfume taste, did I just get used to it, or did the heat of the SS wick help speed up the aging process?

Key Lime, I haven't tried it yet but I cant help thinking a 45/45/10 of Key Lime/Sweat Crème/Pie Crust would make a nice Key Lime Pie. Ok on to the taste test. No perfume taste on this one. I was hoping it would be a bit sweater but I guess I should have known it would be more like a raw fruit and less desserty sweat. I think it might need a bit of sweetener to make a Key Lime Pie. Not bad but I don't think I will buy more unless I can get a pie flavor going on with it. I don't think additional aging will improve this one.

Root Beer, again not perfumy, tastes like Root Beer. Bumped the voltage up to 4.4 and ya that's GOOD! Not an ADV for me, but very good none the less. I can almost feel the fizz, this one is a buy again for sure!

Mt Dew, I'm a Dew fiend and this one is not doing it for me, maybe it needs to mature. We'll revisit this one next week.

Banana, mmm this one seems ready to vape also. More of a candy banana than a true fruit taste. Laffy Taffy, maybe Runts? I'm getting a bit of tart on the exhale. 4.4volts was a bit harsh 4.2 is the setting for it. Chain vaping again, need to pace myself on this one also. I like this one, but I get a bit of a lingering after taste, a sip of water clears it though.

Red White & Blue, I like this one also. I'm not sure what Star Fruit is supposed to taste like, but I can taste the strawberry and blueberry for sure. I do get a fruity flavor in it also, I guess that's the star fruit;) A possible buy again.

Last one is Pineapple Peach, OOOO that's peachy. I can taste the pineapple in the background, but the peach is front and center. It's very good, but I don't think it's my cup of tea.

So three of the eight flavors I hope improve with some aging, Sucker Punch, Ecto Cooler, and Mt Dew.

My rating from best to not best right now would be Root Beer, Red White & Blue, Pineapple Peach, Banana, and Key Lime. None of them are nasty. I'm definitely looking forward to trying more flavors from Mt Baker!

BTW for the Black Forest chocolate cherry trial contestant, I didn't get any sweetener. It may be more like a cake if you do, but I was relying on the sweet cream to add a little sweetness, and it's just sweet enough for me (but maybe not for you). :D I am trying this as my ADAWV (all day at work vape), which is to and from work, and some break time vapes. So far so good.

I didn't order with any flavor shots and it was amazing....has a ton of flavor to it, sweet, no harsh bitter orange to it at all.

How sweet is the Pinapple Upside Down Cake? I have been on a fruity binge but looking to try the sweeter flavors. Has anyone tried Banana Split yet?
I get mostly pineapple with quite a bit of sweetener and a hint of maraschino cherry at the end sometimes (that may be my imagination). It's a good flavor, not too sweet, just sweet enough to be like the real thing. I don't even like pineapple that much but this was my ADV until I got Ecto Cooler.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake is a treat for myself. It truly is delicious. As it steeps, the cake flavor starts to shine, too. After 6 months of sampling almost their entire line-up, I've whittled down my MBV orders to these four flavors:

Butterscotch
Caramel Coffee
Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Root Beer

Caramel coffee is the one I simply can not vape....it's just too 'coffee' for me.

On the other hand, I just ordered...a 30ml of apple rings with an extra shot, 30ml of peach, and 30ml of that new one on the sidebar...Cider Fire. They still don't have the 15ml back in yet.

Hee hee, that's why I like it!

A lot of their fruit or candy flavors have the same taste to me. They all taste like Sweet Tart candies to me.

Maybe it's just my weirdo taste buds, but butterscotch wasn't nearly as good to me as root beer or cinnamon roll (or spearmint, dear sweet heaven the spearmint!). Pineapple upside down cake may have to go on "the list" though...

I don't have a good track record with fruits, either. I've not really like any I've tried regardless of vendor. Even at that double apple, red grapefruit, wild cherry, and peach rings are all on the list.

As you might have guessed, the list is pretty long

The caramel coffee was too strong for me too so I mix it with sweet cream and its perfect :)

You got your Peach with 3 shots?! You are going to be able to fuel your car with that!

Tell me if you get the same reaction to it...

Is the Sticky Bun considered a cinnamon flavor? Would it not be safe in a T3?
From what I understand, the "bakery" cinnamon is more like the spice and is clearo-safe. The "candy" cinnamon is like Red Hot candies and is not clearo-safe. Sticky Bun is not listed on their tank cracker flavor list.
