Awesome, thanks for your help!
I musta have done something wrong, I'm getting almost no vapor, even at 10 watts. I guess tomorrow I'll syringe the juice out of the tank and try again with another carto.
EVOD 4L people.
What cartotanks do you recommend Rocketpunk?
You got your Peach with 3 shots?! You are going to be able to fuel your car with that!
Tell me if you get the same reaction to it...

Boy, I really hope I didn't mess up. I read your experience and hope mine isn't like that. lol Either way, I normally mix together several juices to get my ADV, so it will be a mixer and I won't be vaping it by itself. Wish me luck!
I got mine with 2 shots and its insanely peachy. I mix mine with sweet cream to mellow it down![]()
Can you give us a play-by-play of what you're doing? It might help. Carto tanks can be frustrating but, like I said, once you figure it out, it's so worth it.
10 watts. That's actually kinda high. What device/battery are you using? You mentioned watts and not volts. Are you using a VW device (i.e., a Zmax, Vamo?) Can you check the Ohms on your carto? If it's 1.5 or 2.0 Ohms, 11 watts may be too high. I would try maybe 7 watts.
The Ohm resistance of your carto/atty has a direct relationship with the volts/watts you choose to use.
Yea its a Vamo, the carto metered out at 2.8 ohms. I don't know what I did wrong, the only thing I can think of is I didn't prime it well enough. Is the carto supposed to look wet while inside the tank?

Yeah, the best way I can describe it would be like crushed ice. But it won't always look that way. If you pop your drip tip off, sometimes it will still look "dry". But if it's working correctly, every time you hit it, it's creating a vacuum that sucks in more juice, keeping your carto polyfill saturated.
Priming seems to be the biggest issue with carto tanks, other than flooding. These are easily-corrected mistakes, and once you get the hang of it, carto tanks are easy peasy.
Like I said, try 40 drops. That's usually enough to prime a carto.
Oh, a few more questions I forgot to ask. What is the pg/vg ratio or your juice, and are you using Boge or Smoktech cartos? Boge polyfill seems to be wrapped "tighter" than Smoktech polyfill. Smoktech polyfill is a little more "loose". That could also be an issue.
I started out with a Smoktech DCT Tank and I upgraded to the locking DCT. I have had a great vaping experience with these. I use the lowest ohm carto (1.5 - 1.8) on my eGo C Twist VV 1000 mah battery.
