I musta have done something wrong, I'm getting almost no vapor, even at 10 watts. I guess tomorrow I'll syringe the juice out of the tank and try again with another carto.

Can you give us a play-by-play of what you're doing? It might help. Carto tanks can be frustrating but, like I said, once you figure it out, it's so worth it.

10 watts. That's actually kinda high. What device/battery are you using? You mentioned watts and not volts. Are you using a VW device (i.e., a Zmax, Vamo?) Can you check the Ohms on your carto? If it's 1.5 or 2.0 Ohms, 11 watts may be too high. I would try maybe 7 watts.

The Ohm resistance of your carto/atty has a direct relationship with the volts/watts you choose to use.

Some thoughts on my MBV experience to date.....

White Out - 12mg - 50/50 - Holy cow, this is an awesome vape immediately!!! I was never a menthol smoker (PAD+ Marlboro Lights for 20+ years), but this has the perfect minty taste for me, gonna have to order a bigger bottle!!!

Thug Juice - 12mg - 50/50 - This one tasted really perfumey, didn't like it immediately. Well, after 2 weeks, it darkened some in the bottle, and the taste has gone from artificial to AWESOME!!!!

Hawk Sauce - 12mg - 50/50 - Still a little artificial, but getting better after 2 weeks. Gonna leave it and try again in 2 more weeks.

Caramel Apple - 12mg - 50/50 - Not too bad immediately, getting better with time. Tastes a little too "appley" for me, would have thought it was more caramel, but gonna try it again in a few weeks.

All in all, delicious flavors!!! Thanks MBV, you have a new regular in me !!

What cartotanks do you recommend Rocketpunk?

Not Rocketpunk, but I'll throw some input out there... I have three polypropylene tanks from Valley View Vapes. I won one in an ECF contest and turned around and ordered 2 more the following week (see, contests do work!!). For me the flavor and vapor are great and they are just as easy to use as my T3s/CE4s (the first carto swap was a learning experience but that's to be expected). Since mine are polypro they really weren't much more expensive than a decent clearo, and cartos are cheaper to replace than heads. Yes I could rebuild my heads and come out cheaper in the long run but I don't have time for that.

You got your Peach with 3 shots?! You are going to be able to fuel your car with that!

Tell me if you get the same reaction to it...

Boy, I really hope I didn't mess up. I read your experience and hope mine isn't like that. lol Either way, I normally mix together several juices to get my ADV, so it will be a mixer and I won't be vaping it by itself. Wish me luck!

I got mine with 2 shots and its insanely peachy. I mix mine with sweet cream to mellow it down :)

Yea its a Vamo, the carto metered out at 2.8 ohms. I don't know what I did wrong, the only thing I can think of is I didn't prime it well enough. Is the carto supposed to look wet while inside the tank?

Yeah, the best way I can describe it would be like crushed ice. But it won't always look that way. If you pop your drip tip off, sometimes it will still look "dry". But if it's working correctly, every time you hit it, it's creating a vacuum that sucks in more juice, keeping your carto polyfill saturated.

Priming seems to be the biggest issue with carto tanks, other than flooding. These are easily-corrected mistakes, and once you get the hang of it, carto tanks are easy peasy.

Like I said, try 40 drops. That's usually enough to prime a carto.

Oh, a few more questions I forgot to ask. What is the pg/vg ratio or your juice, and are you using Boge or Smoktech cartos? Boge polyfill seems to be wrapped "tighter" than Smoktech polyfill. Smoktech polyfill is a little more "loose". That could also be an issue.

I use plain ol' Smoktech DCT tanks with Smoktech cartos. I could link to where I got them but it would now be a conflict of interest. ;-)

Discountvapers is a good place to check. Mount Baker also has them.

I believe the latest editions won't crack.

However, if you want to really jump in, I suggest IBtanked, Phiniac, or Valley View Vapes.

Put in a new carto, much better! These are pretty punched Smoktech carto that I've had forever just collecting dust, cuz like I said, I'm a clearo guy. My juice is 50/50.

I started out with a Smoktech DCT Tank and I upgraded to the locking DCT. I have had a great vaping experience with these. I use the lowest ohm carto (1.5 - 1.8) on my eGo C Twist VV 1000 mah battery.

The UDCT's are a great feature, but they don't get very good air-draws on a Provari.
