Ok so the place I worked at closed down so I qualified for free funding for school. So I registered yesterday. I just hope Im not in over my head cause its been 22 years since I saw a classroom but the only other thing Im qualified to do is restaurant work (Which I enjoyed but just doesnt' pay enough) But you can't beat the deal with free school and they will still pay my unemployment.

Only problem is that I have always worked and been at home for the last 3 months have driven me crazy...maybe with school it will help me. I just not a stay at home person. It was nice the first couple of weeks but I was getting sick of myself! LOL

Good luck!! I'm a pretty avid gamer during the day (since i work nights) and have tossed around the idea of quitting gaming. I'm like,,, what would i do with my free time.... my mom suggested going back to school. Granted I've only been out of school 8 years. At first i was like hmm not a bad idea, maybe get my masters. Then i realized, even with my masters i'd either be 1-making less money than i currently do, or 2-making the same amount working my same job and have a masters and more student loans... I'd love my phd, but i realized after college i wanted a house and to start my life, so I can't really quit work and go back. Plus PhD's in research don't make what I currently do. It's like a catch 22. I think i'll take another certification instead, which will allow me to move to a different hospital higher up in the food chain.

Maybe I should put my science skills to use and make juice :p

"school" is a pretty vague entity. is there something that interests you? can you think of something you would enjoy doing 8 hours a day? is there something "fun" you could make money at?

go to school for something like that!

what did you do in the restaurant business? i have decades of experience, there is money to be made there. if i could stand up for any length of time, jobs are a plenty.

I've moved on from 808s (nothing wrong with them, I just run them dead too fast!)

I just love them for the simplicity. 1 battery + 1 clearo = done & ready to vape.

Every time I think about expanding my horizons I see all these setups with so many parts & pieces to deal with and say forget it. I don't want to work that hard to vape. I've been off cigs for four years, and still happy with my simple little 808's.

Do you hear that James??.....Think of all the $$$ you could get from me if you laid in a supply of my 808 gear...:D

mia, i scrolled back but couldn't find your post, but i think it was you who said you got a vamo and don't like it. i was wondering what you don't like about it. i was thinking of venturing into the world of mods and looking at the V3. it looks cool and gets good reviews. which one did you get and what's wrong with it? inquiring minds need to know. ;)
I have a vamo v2, and I love it, it is a workhorse. The only things I don't like about it is it doesn't fit a kanger t3 size with ego threading and it is a bugger to clean out the drip well. The new v5 has everything the v3 has, and a removable top cap and the cap has way more room so it cures both my issues with it. Vamo'so are cheap and perform really well. I have a v5 in my cart at fasttech right now but am holding off until I see how long my shipped orders are going to take to get to the great white north. I'm sure this has already been said but I'm playing catch up....stupid job.

I can't imagine I ever posted having "super sensitive taste buds". You must have misunderstood.
I have simple taste buds. I like flavors and don't like others. I can't identify much.

I saw likes appearing from May posts. I read this whole thread a few times myself.

mowgli! did any one respond to Pineapple Upsidedown Cake and Cotton Candy - one's pinkish-orange and one is yellowish?

either way, the cotton candy is the pink one. It'll turn to a very bright pinkish orange. I can only assume the pineapple would be yellow.

Thanks Miarose but that post was in May and Retrox answered withing 6 minutes :)

i'm mapping out a "need to try" list.

in other news...:censored: post office. an order from AZ got to Seattle yesterday...it's still there...that means i won't get it until Monday. :-x

one last itaste v3 and some wire and wick. i have 3mm silica, but it's too thick for the v3s to handle, kills the battery. have a little 1mm coming to use, with some .6mm to use as wick (and some 2mm coming from Amazon).

*please be wrong*

thats probably why i like vw better and don't get burnt tastes like i do with vv. i swap tanks constantly.

Yup, it's very handy for that.

well....!! WHAT FLAVORS! :)

Ack, I forgot to ask the most important question!

I just hope Im not in over my head cause its been 22 years since I saw a classroom

You be fine. It was 15 years for me between leaving college and picking up online classes again. The first one was nervewracking. After that, it's fine... you get back into the rhythm very quickly.

Good luck!! I'm a pretty avid gamer during the day (since i work nights) and have tossed around the idea of quitting gaming. Sounds like a good plan. I've been thinking about going for certifications lately too, just because they're quicker/cheaper.

Maybe I should put my science skills to use and make juice :p

Or that! :D

That's what my mom says, too. :) I still love the 808s for portability. Like I said, I just run them dead way too fast - I'd need eight or nine fully charged batteries to get through a day if they were my main setup. Not a failing of the batteries, I just vape too much! I keep three 808s with me when I'm out and about though. The MVP 2 is, shall we say, indiscreet. :)

Vaping some Bavarian Cream this morning, but time to put the PV down and go straighten up the house a little - friends are insisting on bringing me a birthday lunch. They wanted to take me out, but I'm not a going out person. Yes, I know, I'm a curmudgeon. ;)

Congrats on your 7 months Kat!! My 7 months is today, now that it's after midnight here. I'm usually late to the thread also because of my crazy sleep schedule. What volt number do you use with your caramel candy? Just curious as mine persists in having a burned taste to it on both my Provari and on my spinners and ego pass through.....frustrating because I really want to like it!

I usually set it at 3.9 with a vivi nova, and 4.1 with an iclear 30. I'm seeing a lot of people having trouble with caramel candy; getting a burnt or peppery taste. I've never gotten the pepper taste, but it does taste burnt if I crank up the volts. It also gunks up coils, so I dry burn after a couple of tanks.

I love this juice so much, it's the only 236 ml flavor I've bought. :vapor: :vapor::vapor: :)

Originally starting with 808's I didn't think I would ever use anything else....but went to them and loved them. Now have gone on to other things but hard to beat an EGO to start.

Oh, the number of times I've said that. One day, those of us less inclined toward bipedalism will rule the world.

Okay, really need to put the PV down and do things, now. Must not refill the tank, or I'll sit here writing and vaping for another 20 minutes before I get moving.
