That's very idealistic, however wholly unrealistic. Regulations and taxation are coming, we can only hope and put pressure on those with the power to be reasonable.

I don't find it unrealistic what so ever. And the "Let's just be reasonable" thing ... that's just opening the door & inviting them in, letting them turn you into a comfortable slave. That's exactly what Comrade Barry & Nanny Bloomberg want you to do. And Gov. Moonbeam in California is being just a little bit more discrete about it. They just want that first step, because that's the "reasonable" thing to do. And when the slaves get comfortable with that, well, they just want this little extra step because that's just the "reasonable" thing to do. It's unrealistic to think that they're not going to continue after the whole pie once you give them the first taste.

Life lesson for all my MBV thread buddies .....

After dinner and you have the brilliant idea of dumping the pitcher of leftover water into the aquarium because the water level is looking a little low .... do NOT accidently grab the pitcher of leftover apple juice. You will wake up the next morning with a cloudy fish tank .... and a bunch of fish doing the backstroke

carry on

**Warning Tinfoil Hat Time**

If we can get people to live longer, they will work taxable wages longer, we can prove that statistically and push retirement ages back further, so they work taxable wages longer and we can withhold SS payouts. Plus we do not like them rascals doing what they want anyways.

***Tinfoil Hat Off ***

that's not necessarily true. smoking can kill you dead! we don't have to pay dead people. if i still smoked, i'd look like this: don't smoke.gif, or else i'd be dead. in June, my heart function 20% and dropping. but thanks to vaping, i might look like this: giphy.jpg, but w/o smoking and 2 stents, my function is between 20 and 25%. hopefully, this will cost Uncle Sam a lot of $$$. (see how i used those 2 gifs ;)) and the more $$$ it costs Uncle Sam something i'm really hoping for! :p

vaping pays off when younger people start vaping instead of smoking. vaping should be allowed to be visible. maybe folks will want to vape instead of smoke!

Dusty, the pants line cracked me up! super-happy-dance-smiley-emoticon.jpg

edit: oh ....., that gif ain't workin...i dunna wanna look like that!

i am just the right height to do that....and don't think i haven't thought about it. thing is....til i hit the lotto, i need my job :)

Yeah ..... I agree ......... but ya gotta admit it would be a great stress reliever

Maybe ...... when you start to feel stressed you could give him a "virtual" junk punch, and just visualize him rolling around on the floor whining, while clutching his "boy berries"...... that may work

I stand by what I said. In a perfect world vaping would be left alone, but it's not going to happen. It's a hot topic worldwide, and their is no way in hell it's not going to get taxed and regulated. I've written my congressmen on the topic and my personal experience with smoking cessation and vaping, and am passionate about the topic, but I'm no way deluding myself. If there is money to be made, they will find a way to make it.

Hm, that's good to know. I've seen both the FT ones and the Tobeco ones in person and the ones I saw were distinctly different - the engraving on the FT ones wasn't as crisp and they weren't machined as well. That said, it is FT and Tobeco we're speaking of, so it's *entirely* possible that the FT ones I've seen were from an early/bad run, or the Tobeco ones I've seen were particularly good examples... no such thing as quality control when it comes to clones, so any or all of the above could be true.

At the very least I know for sure that the one I'm getting worked as of a few days ago, so any problems with it should be minor. Fingers crossed, anyway... it's getting broken down, cleaned thoroughly, and stuck on an ohm meter before it goes anywhere near my juice.

Good to know that it performs well with various wicking materials, too.

I cannot for the life of me, get ANY wick material to NOT taste metallic in my kraken. SS rope, mesh, silica, ekowool, and cotton. Spent hours last night trying to get it right.

Curt.

Bah, duty calls, no more putzing around on the web. I'd like to just add that I hope I'm wrong, and that we magically get left alone and everyone who has ever smoked turns to vaping and eventually quits nicotine altogether. That is what I hope for, but not what I expect.

You all have a wonderful day, be safe out there.

sorry Sean, that kinda got lost. glad the family is fine. did they name the baby after you?

Ha. Fortunately for him, no. :) Friend's sister went with three family names - Jackson Alexander Arthur (last name). I've seen the pictures, and he's a cute little fella... and three times the size I was when I was born. To term babies always amaze me with how huge they are, since my sister and I were both preemies.

I found I had to degunk for while. Mine are clones, they pre-installed, premade SS Mesh wicks were so soaked in machine oil the burned for quite some time.
