I decided with the savings Im gonna get with making my own juice that I want to get a VTR. Anyone here uses it and how do you like it? It will be a home mod so the heaviness won't be a factor. Mainly Im concerned with how good the threads are. My Vamo is very finicky in that department
I'm quite sure someone has already given you information on the VTR, but I will chime in just in case, I have no plan on going back and forth between the start of today's thread to the end etc.
The VTR as pretty much everyone that has one knows it's a heavy mod, I like that it is and it only took a short time to get used to the weight, it weighs approx 13oz without the battery. The threads are solid no issues with those what so ever. The issues that have been mentioned are the fact that without the extender it will only accept 19mm tanks due to ring at the top, not a real big issue for me, it would have been nice if they had made it a little re-sizeable, but I won't go into that, some have even cut off the top ring to accommodate larger tanks and other atty types.
The other issue that some were reporting was due to the bottom ring that spins, they were reporting that the issue with some of them was that it was causing some false reading on the built in Ohm reader, I have not had an issue with that at all at this point, some that did stated that after working with the ring for a while spinning it back and forth the issue was resolved, but now Innokin has made the ring immovable and I haven't seen any negative post in regards to it at this point.
All in all, this is a very nice mod, I am extremely happy with it, I get a good 1 1/2 days out of the battery and I am a serious chain vaper.
I do however wish that there was either a shorter adapter so that I could use Evods and the like without them sticking out so high when used on the adapter that it makes the mod look like an old Walkie Talkie. It's a very solid unit and for me is very reliable, I also have a Cell phone case that was for my Motorola Atrix and the VTR fits in that like it was made for it. But due to the weight, I would not recommend this option without have a good belt and most certainly not recommend it to those who think wearing one pair of pants below your ... is cool as it would cause them to be around their ankles, which on thinking of this might be a good idea and mayber they will learn how to pull up their damn pants!
