If you take the tank completely apart (which is rarely necessary, but possible) there's an o-ring on the top and bottom of the tank section to snug the connection between the pyrex bit and the metal bits. They're easily lost down the drain, especially if you don't know to keep an eye out for them when the tank first comes apart. :)

They replace the o-rings from the top and bottom of the tank...sometimes it's easy to drop them when you're cleaning, or they might get damaged when you're taking it apart or putting it back together.

EDIT: Seanchai types faster than me

ok thanks guys....i have never had the occasion to take my tanks apart, so the 0-rings are just accumulating ;)

I don't like single button devices. I am also not a fan of the design. Newer tanks coming out do not fit as nicely on the Provari as they did even a year ago. I am one of those that wish they would make a few design improvements and add vw to the mix. It would definitely be nice to own only one mod and the Provari would fit that bill nicely but there are too many little things about it that would aggravate me to no end.

I am not a hater. I just know me and it won't work for me as is.

Funny, the single button was one of my biggest issues too. After I used it a couple times I really don't even notice anymore. It looked like a major PITA when I was researching them, but I found that it was less things to press in your pocket & in the grand scheme of things I'm spending more time vaping it than I am messing around in the menu. The only time I really use it is on my Stealth which has a blacked out button, so you either have to check the battery level or just wait until it doesn't fire.

The all-in-one mod is another can of worms. I've never seen anything (vitamins, cell phones, etc) where they could do every single one of those features as well as individual purpose built devices. If they could, it'd be great, but logic says it'll never happen. I've always been one to use my phone like a phone & my camera like a camera. Sure you spend a bit more, but you get better quality in the long run. It just depends on what the user is really after, one device or superior functionality.

The design... yeah the crop circles are kinda dumb. :p So I just vape it & look at pictures of Sammy instead. :D

Perhaps that has something to do with the device and/or the build of the coil. Just like with everything else I did my research & it led me to a KFL+, so I don't have experience building on dozens of different RBA's. I have built dozens of coils for the KFL+, playing around with every parameter possible, and I've never had a coil change on me that much. I've had 1 change by .1 ohm, but that was it. Even so, it's still adjust to taste. I've even found that I adjust the voltage on the same coil, same juice just depending on the time of day. Your taste buds level of perception change depending on multiple factors, time of day, what you ate, how long ago since your last oral intake, etc.

That much swing in resistance would really make me question the device I was using or the attention to detail of whomever built the coil. I've never had anything close to that sort of an issue. Knowing that not all RBAs/builds behave that way, I would think about attacking the problem directly instead of adding another feature to cope with it..

Again, all good points. I've only built a few coils for bottom coil RBAs (I don't own one, so I've just built a handful for friends) but in my experience, bottom coil RBAs don't bounce around as much as top coils do, particularly gennies. I would assume that's at least partially due to the fact that genny coils sit vertically over the wick hole as opposed to horizontally - that tends to mean that the coil has a little more "settling" to do. I do respect everything you're saying; I suppose what *I'm* saying is, having worked with a genny pretty extensively already (I've probably built 20 coils for this thing in the past week), I went from "not seeing the point" of VW to *absolutely* seeing the point... and I have to think that, as with everything in vaping, the usefulness of any given feature is fully dependent on what *other* gear you're using... and that there wouldn't be such a big push for dual settings devices if there weren't a lot of people out there like me, who prefer VW for their RBAs (or possibly just their genesis RBAs), but VV for their tanks.

it's just a dream for me right now, but i am really sick of the cold. i missed you too, hun. shouldn't say, but had to spend a few days in the cuckoo's nest....had a bit of a meltdown and needed a "tuneup". med adjustment and feeling much better so far. :)

**hugs**

One thing I miss about Florida. We were about 3 hours from the Bahamas, the Keys, and a bunch of other very nice places to be. Oh, I also miss being able to go to Disney World in December and have it stay above 50 degrees at 8pm with the Park's mostly empty.

For replacements. Some people completely break down their tanks to clean them. I don't because it is unnecessary and causes added wear on the o-rings. O-rings can be lost, they can rip, they can compress, etc. In my opinion you are doing it right. Just wash the tank without breaking it down completely saves those o-rings additional wear and tear.

Unfortunately the RBAs often need to be broken down more thoroughly. Pro tanks, not so much.

but VV for their tanks.

I prefer 76mm for my tanks.

It's opening the floodgates on a heavily debated topic. Just be glad you didn't post it in the General forum. You don't want to know where that would've went. At least we're civil, friendly & intelligent in here... well maybe except for Butch. But we don't blame him, it can happen when you get that old.
Yes I m glad too lol, I was actually surprised of how nice u guys hv treated me :D
It's my first time using English forum in my life. When I was hanging around on the Chinese e-cig forum, so many people were trying to become offensive or ignore me..... i've never gotten so many replies in my life.......... ty guys

Are you saying you're a hoarder? :) You should make friendship bracelets out of them. :D

haha, i have small wrists, but it would still take a metric crap ton to make a bracelet out of those dinky things. ;)

So glad to hear that you're doing better, Kelli!

Ok, I am now comparing the MVP2 and the VTR. I like the topper sitting more *in* the device than *on* the device - oh, but the price is daunting. That will definitely involve saving if I decide to go that route.

Question for those of you who have used both devices (yes, I've paid attention to prior discussions on the thread, but I'm not sure that this has been answered...) Will a PT2 mini fit in the VTR? Or do you need larger tanks?
