Good morning MBV :) TGIF!!

To my palate, it is more like chewing slightly odd gum. I like Cucumber Mint, but I won't vape it every day. I will say that it is an interesting break from all of my other flavors in rotation, a nice change of pace. :thumb:

It seems to me that most people equate "high-end" with "costs a lot of money." I think another high-end mod that hasn't been mentioned is the Billet Box. If you only vape one flavor in a day, it might be worth looking at since the tank is built into the mod. I have held one, and they just feel so well-made and solid.

Mia is so very right about me! I own an Nzonic clone, and it is the best $30+ I have spent on a mechanical. It feels and performs like many "high-end" mechanicals, but didn't cost as much. Like Mowgli has already posted, Caravela makes very nice mechanical mods (but unaffordable for many of us). They are beautiful, some say works of art. I understand that, but when I'm vaping I'm paying less attention to beauty and more attention to performance. :)

Have a good one, all!! :D
I'm so smart!
I think if you like how the billet box felt, that you'd like a reo. my problem with the billet box is that you still have to deal with a carto i believe, and i just didn't get along well with them. they tasted icky.

so yeah, about that reo that you need stone :)

 Mia you are a pusher and an enabler! Actually, you can use some other small form RBAs like the Diver in the Billet Box as well as traditional cartos. :)

EDIT: PS-I'm lurking in the classies right now trying to not purchase anything

i see there is a few. i'm on the hunt for another original mini. i prefer them despite their lesser battery time. i have no leakage with them, like i did with my 2.1 minis.

You'd have to ask him :)

Do you need an "Original Mini intervention?"

Mayyybeee. After my dog's vet bill I realized I probably shouldn't buy a woodvil that i'd been saving for. So i figure i could use part of the money to find a old mini. I'm just not having any luck yet. Sometimes they appear on the classies, just not often as they're old. And im really afraid I'd have the same overflow issues in the woodvil that i did in the other reos i traded/sold. I just really like these minis.

Glad you're liking the MVP2! Yep, Todd's a rambler, but at least he's thorough. :D I watched his vids for weeks, a couple hours every night, before I pulled the trigger on the Chi-Krack. Usually with this thread open in another window. So I'm very familiar with the compulsive research technique.

I'm pretty sure I could win an award for researching stuff before I buy. On the flipside, I'm never disappointed or surprised. It's usually a tad more expensive up front, but I save money in the long run by trying something, upgrading, trying something else, upgrading, etc.

Piggy, you are fitting right in here! You are funny!! Now, let me say that I have 2 Provaris and I think they are outstanding devices. I use them almost exclusively and not for status. Sean knows that about me. :) I am so glad I bought them because I know they'll last a lifetime and if anything goes wrong after the warranty is up, they can be sent in to Provape and fixed for usually around 25 dollars, and sent back to you within a week. You can drop them on cement over and over without causing them damage. They are that tough. That being said, I have 2 Vision Spinners, which are great, an ego passthrough, which I used non stop on a 1200 mile drive to Missouri last summer. Now I have the MVP2, love it, and plan on getting the itaste vv3 tomorrow. There are lots of great devices out there....just had to defend the Provari a little bit. I'm not a Provari snob by any means but once you own one, you "get it". I try to remember to back up my back ups so I'll keep ordering different mods as I go forward. It's fun to try different products....keeps things interesting!....and of course the bottom line is that whatever you end up using is the best for you if it keeps you from smoking cigs! :) ........yay! I made it through the thread! It took me somewhere around 7 hrs. or so!! Now I can try to get some sleep. g'night to whoever is still up! cya later!

I'm with you miss roonies - I was put off from vaping by those cheap gas station disposables. About a year later someone suggested an 808 system so I gave it another go. That was when I realized that maybe I actually could quit smoking. I started researching & bought a Provari. I had it less than a week & bought another one. There are very, very, very few Provari owners who think it's some sort of status symbol (hey, there's idiots everywhere & in every hobby, can't fix that... not to mention Reo has those same people, so do certain mechs, sub ohmers...). I saved a ton of money skipping the ego's, the MVP, etc & jumping straight to the Provari. While researching the more inexpensive mods, I kept finding stuff that wasn't acceptable to me & I wouldn't have been happy with them for very long, if at all. Compared to spending $350/mo on cigs, the Provaris aren't expensive at all. They're worth every penny you spend on them.

That being said, I know most people are too lazy to do any research at all so I'd never tell someone to just go out & buy a Provari. Buy something that you'll use & that will keep you from buying cigs. If you need to upgrade for better quality or features or whatever, do it. Or better yet, do some simple research, know there are pros/cons to every mod regardless of price & figure out what's important to *you*. If a mod doesn't offer that, move on to something else. Just because something is important to me, doesn't mean you give a crap about that feature & vice versa.

On a side note, I know a lot of people who love their Provari's also own Reo's. They're completely different things & each have their own advantages. I couldn't imagine why someone would even try to compare the two... almost like trying to compare a Ferrari with a Mack truck. Neither is better, it just depends on what you need to do with it. If all you do is haul around heavy things, the Ferrari isn't going to work for you no matter how many people praise them.

hi Mia, is this your song?

[Pretty in Pink]

I love that song! I used to play a version of it acoustically & then my band decided to adopt it into our regular line up. We did it more like the Automatic 7 cover though.

i'm a reo fan girl. i'll openly admit it. but i also get that it isn't for everyone. a provari wasn't for me, because tanks/carto's weren't for me. it just took me a little bit, and some aggravation to realize it.

and in my dreams i drive a hybrid ferrari!

And I completely get that. Personally I've never had a problem with cartos, but I could see how some might. To each their own, as long as it makes you happy. There's just too many idiots out there & some of them are rather vocal about their stupidity.

Morning Oz, you're late. did you get some rest?

I'm never late. I always arrive precisely when I intend to my dear Samwise.

I haven't been sleeping very well so I turned my alarm a bit later so I have just enough time to get ready & head out in the morning, instead of waking up an hour or 2 before I have to leave & catching up on here. I hate waking up & running out the door. I'd much rather wake up slowly, relax & get ready at my own pace, but that extra hour in the wee morning has been needed.

It also makes me think about the people who are continually .....ing about Provari not having VW. For me, I don't want VW. I don't need it, for what I do it provides absolutely zero advantages coupled with a few negatives. If VW is your thing, that's cool but why look at a Provari in the first place? Apparently it's not the mod for you, so move on to something else that offers the features you want. If I'm hungry for a ribeye, I don't go to Taco Bell & complain about their menu. It makes no sense.

And my MBV order finally got scanned in, so it's officially on its way. I know you were all staying awake tonight worrying about that for me. Porpoise.

Oh, is *that* why I was staying up? Not because I was monitoring servers and waiting for other folks to finish their part of stuff?

I'm so glad I'm so helpful...

Carp....Landshark....

Candygram!

Go for it! They're on sale at 101 Vapes for 40 bucks. just got mine today and haven't put it down. vapes like a beast!

They were out of stock late last night and in the wee hours of the morning...

the innokin itaste vv3 is vv and vw, works as a passthrough also. it's about the size of a spinner but squared off on the sides. it's cool looking with a lot of features for the size and it's inexpensive, around 30-40 dollars. sorry I don't have a link for you....just trying to get through the thread, which has taken me all night long!

It's ok, I've found plenty of places to get them. I've been hoping for something shorter - the 400mAh spinner is only just over 3" long. I'll pay a premium for small enough to hide in the palm of my hand.

I also, however, will research stuff for ages before I buy. I don't mind saving up to buy something where I feel there's value, even if it's pricey, but I don't like to regret purchases.

Unfortunately, most video reviews make me absolutely crazy about a minute or two in. The presentation style is either horrible, or the camera can't get focus, or they have to repeat the same information sixteen times, and I get annoyed. So wading through them is difficult.

Right - for Ribeye we go to Sizzler.
