i might OD-ing with Thug juice then ;D

i've been mixing small batches (5ml) at a time. I'll try going down instead of up. The more logical way should have been to start at 10% and move up 5% every time. I started at 20% because it was easy math wise, lol ~ 4ml pg/vg + 1ml flavor = 20%. Their website said try between 15%-40% but i dared not to go to the 40%.

Thanks for the feedback!
Wow, I've never actually read that 40% part on the website...it's a good thing too. I've used a few of their DIY flavorings, and so far they were all very good. The highest I've mixed them is 15%, but I have not used the Thug juice or Strawberry (so I can't help you there). I will say that when I'm DIYing a juice, I would question any flavor that I would have to use at 40%. I would rather vape nic than whatever mystery chemical that makes up the flavoring :)

what other DYI flavors have you bought?

I got Thug Juice / Strawberry / Moo Juice / Pina Colada <--- my order from fav to least

Blueberry looked interesting to get, waiting to see if Blu Moo or whatever will come out to DYI
So far, I've ordered Extreme Ice, White Out, and Ecto Cooler. Hawk Sauce will be my next DIY flavoring purchase.

All regs of MBV know they have fast shipping, but wow don't know how they make USPS go faster for them, ordered Saturday at noon, got email to say shipped at 4pm saturday, was in my mailbox at 11am this morning

Ordered from a few vendors and this has been the fastest I've got anything, it's amazing really with how popular MBV is, so many orders and still can get orders out that fast, now the steeping begins :)

Guys, I'm starting to think I should go into the juice mixing business. Or at least DIY.

Because although I've gotten a lot of juices I've liked ordering "off the menu" so to speak, just about everything I truly LOVE I've gotten using the MYO wizard. Even my fiance, who is not the easiest man to please flavor-wise, vapes more of the MYO juice I created for him that anything else.

(this post brought to you by the sheer bliss that is vaping my SugarPlum blend)

From my experience, the Hawk Sauce changes completely in about 2 weeks. I thought it was "perfumey" at first, but after a couple of steeping weeks, the taste was awesome. Sometimes with the blended flavors, it takes a while for the flavor profile to really come out. At least that is how it worked for me.

It has changed completely for me, too. It tasted....I don't know how to describe it......thin? when I first got it. I loved it anyway, but the flavors were definitely not as developed as they've become. My 30 ml bottle is about a week old (and half gone lol) and it tastes completely different than it did when I first got it.

I haven't been vaping anything else. It's amazing stuff. I did just order some Thug Juice though, so we'll see how it compares. Can't wait!

Thug Juice is the same way... its smells and tastes like bubble bath when you first get it. A few days after steeping, it becomes one of the best e-liquids in the scene.

I know taste is subjective but how would you rate the Ecto Cooler? I was almost going to order it but went with the pina colada
If you like the Ecto Cooler juice MBV mixes, then you will like the EC DIY flavoring. I originally liked EC quite a lot, but I must've burned out on it since I haven't touched it in weeks. Hmmm, maybe I should revisit it :glare:

They are both good, but Hawk Sauce is the clear winner for me :) When I first vaped them side by side, I was surprised at how different they were...I was initially under the impression that they were very similar.

Argh....I hope I like TJ! haha I have very limited funds right now and I sat for an hour trying to decide if I should just order some more Hawk Sauce or try the Thug Juice. Since several people said they were similar (as you noted) I figured it would be okay to take the leap and try something new, even if I ran out of my HS before I could afford to order more. Now I'm a little nervous about that decision.....because I am definitely going to be out of HS before payday. :glare:

I have created a new Mt. Baker Vapor flavor: 1/3 sticky bun, 1/3 waffles, and 1/3 vanilla custard. I'm naming it om nom nom nom nom nom. :D
    Ha ha ha!!!

I think you will like it. I only meant that at first, I thought they were incredibly similar. Thug Juice has a bit more menthol/cooling, and it is a bit more tart. If you like Hawk Sauce, I predict you will like Thug Juice, and it will definitely be vapable for you. At least now you will know which you prefer :)

It doesn't matter if you buy all juice or no juice. They will send a free sample of juice with orders over $15 after discounts are taken and before shipping is added.

I wish this were the case with me...I ordered 8 bottles of 30ml and 5 needle nose bottle caps for a total order of $60 and got zero, zip, nada, zilch in terms of a free samples. I will say though that the juice has been great and I will be back. It's a little frustrating to hear people spend $15 and get a sample. They have so many juices I was looking forward to a 9th sample so I could try another one before making another order

Definitely tell them, MBV has great customer service and they might try to take care of you now. But for next time, try requesting a flavor in the comments section of your order. It might help ensure that you get one. Sorry you didn't get one this time, though, that's a bummer.

I sent a really nice and light-hearted email through their site asking why no freebie. I let them know I was happy with their quality and would return for more, but got no response to that either. It wouldn't really bother me if I hadn't read about it on their page and it wasn't stated as something that WOULD happen. $60 is a pretty good amount for a juice order in my opinion also.

I prefer HS over TJ hands down. I get sweet tarts and/or a childhood memories candy flavor from Hawk, and I love it so much so that I ordered the granddaddy sized bottle. I got a 15 ml of the TJ to try since most seem to rave about it and I mostly get overly menthol-y watermelonish flavor from it (which I'm starting to find out that I'm not a melon vape kind of girl). Definitely not tart for me.

I think it's ok, not *my* personal favorite, but I think I'd like it a lot better if the menthol wasn't as strong as it is... I'd prefer the menthol be lighter and snuck up on you on the back end like Hawk Sauce does. Just my two cents ;)

I almost completely agree with you...I only differ in that I think Hawk Sauce is a lot less candy-like than Thug Juice. To me, it's the TJ that is more candy in a Jolly Rancher kind of way :)

I would go do a live chat on their site. That will evoke an immediate response.

That's happened to me a couple of times with fairly large orders. Now I write in the comments what type of sample I would like and I get one.
