I'm not too much in the fruity vapes by themselves, without something
added to sweeten it up a bit. Banana is an exception, but banana mixes
with so many things.
Making a pot of chili for dinner. It's just a chili kind of day. Brrrrrrr.

Crock pot beef stew here and i did NOT step one foot out of the door at all!! No way, cant make me!!!!

The biggest problem with the ADA is that it was never meant to be final legislation - even former Sen Tony Coelho and Sen. Kennedy, who wrote it, said that. It was meant to be foot-in-the-door legislation to pave the way for something more concrete, and as such, it's pretty mealy-mouthed. If I say to a business owner, "hey man, you're the only store that carries X for 50 miles, and I need X, so you need to put in a ramp," and he says "how about I just bring X to you and we conduct this transaction outside?"... technically, he can argue that's a "reasonable" accommodation. It's not reasonable to *me*, and if I took it to court, a *judge* would not find it reasonable, since there are federal funds available to put a ramp on your place of business and all I'm asking for is a ramp.... but there's the rub. At the end of the day, to get that ramp in, I'd have to have the time, energy, and money and/or representation to take it to court.

sean, don't know how often you stay in hotels but they are a joke when it comes to the ADA. one of my gf's who is in a chair went with me on a trip one time and what the hotels think of as accessible is laughable. in one room, the bed was so high i could barely climb onto it. about the only thing they do right is make the doorways wider. it is obvious that an able bodied person designed these rooms. if a person who uses a chair had, they would be totally different. i also found that most "accessible" public restrooms are also anything but.

I cuss like a sailor when my little girl isn't around but I think you can do a webcast without dropping the f-bomb all the time, it just doesn't feel professionally done to me.

Perhaps the words I am looking for are mainstream and underground. It seems to be an underground themed webcast as opposed to something more mainstream. Something I might expect from underground software pirates, hackers, goth groups, etc. Appearances are everything when you are being scrutinized by outside agencies. Joe seems happy with the format and it is his show but I think with a little time, investment, and some censoring they could appeal to a larger segment of the population and help elevate e-cig usage to the mainstream smoking population.

My bet is there are a lot of people who are turned off of the show right now because of these things (and the boredom factor)

Sent from my Astromech in a galaxy far, far away. The force is with me. so is Mr. chicken.

i see your point too. i got an almost subversive vibe from the time i watched it. lots of "counter culture" imagery, "daring" language and stuff. not a bad thing, mind you....but not conducive to acceptance by a mass audience.

Satellite reception was out due to the snow, so I didn't get an early football game.I went to Walmart instead. Not because I needed anything, just for the adventure.
It was pretty dead. Only those of us willing to drive in the snow were there. I would like to have been able to say "only those of us willing and able to drive in the snow", but that would have been a gross overstatement.

i have one you can have!! LOL mine can be a little brat. he's a rescue and god only knows what happened to him before i got him. somedays he's fine with my pom, other days he wants to eat him. I've NEVER heard a dog screech like he does when he's outside and sees other dogs.

How much snow did Alamo get? I'll be texting with my friend that lives there later,
she's used to snow but doesn't mean she has to like it, LOL.

I haven't seen any official numbers, but it looks like about three inches to me. That's a huge accumulation for these parts.

Yeah that would close schools here - just the prediction of two or three inches before it ever
started falling would close the schools. That's cuz it's cheaper to them to close the schools
than to actually take care of the ice and snow on the roads.
