Sounds like just another reason I shouldn't order anything from there. I placed one order there back in November. My order never made it past HK and it took me until last week to get my money back. I'm not sure the lower price is worth the trouble. Especially since a lot of US vendors have gotten their prices down to a few dollars over fastech's price.

Unfortunately, most US vendors even near the FT pricepoint are selling the same units we are buying direct from FT.

I have ordered the same ones from Vendors here in the US. The two times I have had issues with the units when I received them the vendor asked for pictures in the response to the support ticket, once they got the picture they gave me a choice. I could throw it in the trash and get credit on their site. Or I could ship it back and they would give a refund.
I chose "throw it in the trash" both times of course. Not sure if that was a good deal or not, I have spent several hours so far fiddling with one atomizer. I figured it at what I make at work and could have bought 2 of the real deal...

Anyways, TLDR, Chinese stuff from US companies = better customer support.

well, im Irish and a wee bit of an alcoholic. although saying that and Irish in the same sentence is some kind of double negative, isn't it?

and yes, tears can be involved! :D

but i was put on the "no whining" list a long time ago!

though it kind of smarts when y'all start talking about! i just look at my purdy water filter and that makes me feel...like i don't have any beer...

Sam, if it makes you feel any better, I haven't had a beer in 11 years... keep waiting for my Irish heritage card to be revoked, hasn't happened yet.

tbh, I don't miss it, but then, I didn't drink enough to acquire much of a taste for it, either... didn't get the opportunity to before it became medically verboten.

Caffeine is another story... I'd never be able to get out of bed without caffeine. Keep telling myself I need to cut down.

Re: Newegg, I'll never buy anything from them again after a similar bad experience a few years ago. Nothing makes me more crazy than bad customer service when it comes to big ticket items.

Who did they ship by? Unless they were using some fly by night shipping company then you can't really blame them for shipping troubles. They have no control over it once it leaves the warehouse.

New Egg outsources their shipping to different sources.
Of course shipping problems are on them. It's their shippers. It's their promised delivery dates.
If the shippers they contract with screw up to the unbelievable level I've seen, it's up to them to contract with a new shipper.
It's absolutely on them.
Then there's the joy of being unable to call them when you do have a problem.

That's a valid point. Weeks and weeks of shipping sucks.
Anyone know of some US vendors selling a KFL+ clone near the $26 FT price?

This played a part in my decision to stop doing business with them. Getting ahold of them is nye impossible. I spent an average of 1 hour on hold before speaking to a live person. I was disconnected three times, and never received the callbacks that were promised.

And their chat system crashed at one point when I was trying to get through that way. lol

I feel "rude" now for mentioning another vendor in a MBV thread :p

101vape.com has the Tobeco KFL+ clone, I think it is 30$ or so. They sell out of hot items fairly fast but usually restock quickly.
