I really hope the coconut thing is true... I don't like sweet goo's (at all) but I loooove coconut!

Can you explain "salting" to a relative newbie such as myself? Pretty prease?

If I could tell you how he got it to taste salty... well, I'd be in the juice business myself. It's legitimately a salty vape.

Heh. My favorite flavor of ice cream is from Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream in Columbus, and she, like our juice vendors, handcrafts artisan ice cream. Yes, it's true. And my all-time favorite flavor of her's is Salty Caramel.

Evidently it's the new "hip" flavor among confectionists.

I've been hearing about salted caramel for years, but then, I watch Iron Chef religiously and I'm a recreational baker. Salted dark chocolate is really delicious, too. A little sea salt cuts the sweetness of the caramel and adds a certain richness to the chocolate that is just... it's candy on a whole different level. Amazing how something so simple makes such a big difference - although - ;) just for funsies, next time you bake a cake from scratch, leave out the salt. It won't taste NEARLY as good, promise you that.

I have only been seeing salted caramel cupcakes in Kroger for the past, oh, six months? Maybe longer. Specialty bakeries have been carrying them much longer.

The really amazing thing, imho, is that the vape is salty. It's just a new vaping experience for me.

Are like, "buttered popcorn" vapes also salty? Cause that... might be... delicious...

Yeah, Jeni's been making Salty Caramel since 2006, maybe longer.

Exactly what I thought, too. Heh heh... oh boy, was I wrong. This is by no means a knock on MBV or their juice mixers there, but buttered popcorn tasted like bottled vomit. I kid you not. The exhale literally made me gag. Now don't get me wrong, you all know I LOOOOVE MBV. But like someone said a long time ago, just because a flavor CAN be made, doens't mean it SHOULD be made. ;-)

As for the $60 polycarb tank, all I have to say is  For $60 I would have pyrex wrapped in Kevlar, not polycarb.

I'm starting to wonder if he misquoted himself, also. I looked for Kir Fanis tanks online and didn't see any for $60. But then again, these "tank" websites (IBTanked, Valley View) are poorly designed and kinda confusing.

DEAR JAMES;

Buttered popcorn... ew.

Buttered popcorn + salted caramel?

This could be GENIUS.

The end.

Have you tried the Twilight? It's an awesome berry blend of some kind. As they say, it's 'complex'. You can taste a few distinct fruits. I suspicion it has a virtually imperceptible touch of cream that smoothes it a little too. Very good stuff.

No I haven't. I was going to buy this flavor a couple of weeks ago however the White Out flavor was more appealing to me at the time. FYI white out is awesome in my opinion :)

I'll have to order twilight this weekend when I place an order for my coworkers. :)

@samazon

Thanks for the comment on the salted caramel. I'm going to have to order this one as well.

I have a feeling I'm going to be spending more than I can afford this Friday.

I really wish I hadn't given away my RY4. It steeped for four months. It was good, then it wasn't, then it was, then it wasn't... I may have to try RY4 again.

Kiwivape tasted anice. Someone else said they tasted caramel. I got NONE of those. It's worth one more try.

I've not tried RY4 from MBV however the one I have tried to me tasted like caramel. It wasn't really a pleasing mix though for myself which is why I've yet to get it from MBV. Well that and I'm more about the fruits and desert flavors than tobacco flavors (with the exception of the coumarin pipe which is freaking awesome).

*Edit*

Has anyone tried Moon Dog yet? I'm kind of curious to know if it's worth getting.

From my last order:

Butterscotch - REALLY FRIGGEN GOOD!! Just ordered ANOTHER 30ml! First bottle lasted all of about 5 days, hahahaha! I now know what it feels like to be RocketPunk... no lie, a co-worker actually said to me, "you smell, like, really good! Kind of like butterscotch or something". I started cracking up, so I showed her my new Reo Grand and took a pull - she then said, "holy [crap] that's amazing, you should follow me around all day with that thing!"

Red Apple - Delicious! It's seriously like biting into a warm red apple! I have one friend that likes to try all my flavors, and when I told him I had red apple and he went to try it, he looked at me with wide eyes and said, "dude, it's like I can even taste the skin of the apple!".

Pistachio - IMO, a complete dud. I LOVE pistachios - I usually eat a bag of them every week or 2, and I'm currently hooked on Ben & Jerry's "Pistachio Pistachio"... I'm gonna leave this flavor to B&J for now, because every time I go back to this liquid thinking it might be better, I make that face you get after drinking from the bar mat.

Just ordered: Salted Caramel, Cantaloupe, Whipped Cream, Maple Pecan, Bananas Foster (can't seem to find Bananas Gone Nuts, so I'm trying this instead), Get Razzled, and reordered White Out and Butterscotch.

Update after a week steeping:

Caramel Apple - Awesome
Cinnamon roll - Awesome
Blue Moo Juice - Awesome
Dutch Apple Pie - Strong, makes me cough regularly... taste is pretty good though
Bananas Gone Nuts - Killed 2 clearo's, tastes great when I drip, going to try it in a carto later.

All in all, I gotta say MBV is great when it comes to price, speed, and flexibility.

I also got Moon Dog. On Monday. Tried it last night (Tuesday). It needs to steep at least a week before I give it another go. It wasn't bad tasting, just needs to settle down. Had a little bit of a perfumey thing going on. Think Thug Juice right out of the mail, but not quite that bad ;)

Of my order (received Monday, straight out of the mail) - salted caramel and caramel apple were immediately vapeable.

Moon Dog was CLOSE to immediately vapeable. I'd say a good week's steep.

Hawk Sauce and Razzleberry need to steep a while. At least a week-two weeks.

My baseline for MBV in terms of steep time is Thug Juice. It needed about three weeks to be good - and it IS good, once it's settled down. None of these seem like they will need as much steeping as TG, but then, we'll just have to wait and see. ;) And of course... YMMV - this is just MY preference/opinion.

STILL haven't tried Purple Ice, Monster or Mt. Dew.

Purple Ice was so so for me. I expected to be blown away but wasn't unlike the other ices I've tried (black, pink, yellow and blue all of them are awesome). A coworker of mine recently got Monster and although personally I dislike the drink the juice from MBV is really good. He mixed it with Black rock because he felt the licorice flavor was to strong in it and it seems to help out. I on the other hand took the black rock and mixed a bit of white out in it because I felt the licorice needed a boost lol.

FYI in my opinion the butter toffee needs at least a week steep time. It's not bad out of the box but it's not great. Hopefully this time next week it will improve a bit. All in all though I would definitely buy it again. :D

Also sassafras is good right out of the box. A bit of steep time may be needed for some but for myself I was pleased with it.
