You can also find some relatively inexpensive polypropylene DCT carto tanks. I have a few of those as well.

I agree with Stoneface! My poly pro economy tanks from valley vapes we like 8 bucks each & I use them as much as others. They aren't as pretty as some of the others but they get the job done. I have quite a few of them & they're great!

Cider Fire?!? Crap I haven't even tried all the last batch of juices I ordered, now I gotta go get some of this.... MBV, why your juice so tasty?!?

So, I decided to try the Make Your Own Juice option. It hit a snag because I have new debit and pre-paid cards (got hit in that fiasco a few weeks back), and for some reason the new billing and shipping addresses aren't jiving. I'll give it a day or two for the bank's databases to get updated. But this is what I chose:

Build Your Own E Juice
Name Your Flavor: Slave I
Flavor 1*: Graham Cracker
Flavor 2*: Honey
Flavor 3: Coumarin Pipe Tobacco
Flavor 4: Fudge Brownie
"Parts" Flavor 1*: 40
"Parts" Flavor 2*: 20
"Parts" Flavor 3: 20
"Parts" Flavor 4: 20
Nicotine Strength: 24 mg/ml (Strong)
Blend: Max VG%
Bottle Size: 30 ml + $2.5

I wanted to add a raisin flavor but there wasn't one. :( I wonder how it'll turn out. We'll see. I'll keep you posted.

It wasn't because of MBV was it? I only deal with 2 vendors...them and Ecig USA..so far I havent had any problems.

It took me all of 7 seconds to dump some MBV Sweet Cream into it. As soon as I tasted the Peach Rings, something in my brain clicked and I knew that it must be so. And the Gods of Joose were pleased by my effort.
I don't think I could dump cream of Angelina Jolie in it and be able to vape it.

If you solve this problem, please let me know. I have clogged a couple of devices with my new Salted Caramel too. It was posted earlier (sorry I can't remember who) that the V-core worked fine, and I think another vote for the Vivi Nova. I have one Smoktech Vivi Rebuildable that I will try it in, which is similar to the V-core. If that doesn't work, then I think I have to go with a dripping RBA. I like the flavor and want it to work, but I don't want to spend weeks making it happen.:|

I vape the salted caramel in in IGO-L RDA and it still gunks up the coil, but it's easy to clean, unlike a carto or clearo. Check out the IGO-L thread, it's cheap, works BEAUTIFULLY and is easy to set up. Or, if you're an Ego-lover, try the IGO-S, works equally well, but it's a perfect size for Ego batts.

I'll let you know if the SmokTech works any better. I would think the Vcore is your best bet so far if you can remove the wick and dry burn the coil.

Somebody is not kidding around here :) You might be set for a couple of weeks...

The EVOD heads/coils can be cleaned, but you have to take the entire head apart. The T3 heads/coils are tougher to get to and maintain. I don't have a Protank yet (waiting, oh the waiting is killing me), but I have heard the EVOD heads work in the ProTank so they must be very similar. I would suggest trying the ProTank, but it would be best if you have the spare head handy just in case it gets gunked up.

ETA: You can unscrew the EVOD head from the base. Run the whole thing under hot tap water. Carefully pull the pin out of the top. In mine, there was one "flavor wick" laid on top. Lift that out and carefully set it aside. Do not lose it:). When you look down into the head, you should see a wick twisted a bit like a pretzel in there. I soaked that part of the head in vodka or PGA for a couple of hours, gently swishing a few times. Pull it out, and let it dry before you put it back together.

You can take the cleaning further, but this has worked for me so far. I didn't put Salted Caramel in my EVOD, though.
Or...you could do like I do.

I suck water THROUGH the coil body. Pin in mouth, water in cupped palm...yes I do this. Pulling that pin is good for the dry burn though. By the by, have you seen why Kanger says they wrap the coils on the sides like that? So the middle wont get burned, since the juice enters from the sides.

Does the Butterscotch clog every atty known to man like the Salted Caramel does? I've got about 25 mls of Salted Caramel I don't know how I'm going to vape... :( and it's my favorite flavor so far *going to sob in the corner *

I have used butter scotch in carto tanks, and kanger t3's, holds up for a while.

It ruined all my ViVi Nova heads within 24 hours of getting them. I use it in a carto tank and it works just fine. Lasts just as long as any other flavor. Before I used carto tanks, I dripped, and my attys are fine. I just soaked them in alcohol, then water, then let them air dry, then dry burned them. I haven't dripped since November, but they still work. It also tastes OK (just OK) in a Kanger T3, but it gives it a slight "off" taste. I've found it works wonderfully in carto tanks.

I figured this might be one way to go...

I've carefully flushed the coil using a syringe, but didn't think to put it in my mouth...it sounds like it's worth a try once most of the juice has been rinsed out. Good tip.

I tried the SmokTech Vivi Rebuildable Tank, and I get an off-taste with that device. It was so "off" to me that I took the juice out of it...on to the next trial...

I tried to sell my ViVi Nova to several different vapers, but no one wanted it. I literally had to give it away to my cousin. That thing was so covered in failure sauce that I actually felt bad for giving it to him. But he likes it, he says. Oh, well. To each their own.

I always hear about the latest update to clearomizers. I went ahead and bought the Kanger T3's. And while they work WAAAAAAAY better than the ViVi Nova, I still don't really like the wicking taste. It mutes or alters the flavor or gives it a plastic-y taste. I'm sticking with my tried and true carto tanks.

I'm not a fan of the Vivi Nova, but I own one of the V3. I only use it for clearo-cracker juices, and I haven't been able to find one for a while now...what happened to Vision? Everyone is out of their products! Anyway...
I was trying the SmokTech version of the Vcore with the Salted Caramel:

I like it for some juices, but definitely not the Salted Caramel. This is the first juice that this device significantly changed the flavor, and not in a good way. Anyway, I prefer the EVOD to the T3, and am honestly working with my first carto tanks now. I'm not sure why I resisted on the carto tanks, but so far I like them alot. I'll be ordering more.

In regards to carto tanks...I have one and loaded it up with Salted Caramel today... It tastes odd to me. I am not entirely sure I primed my carto well enough. I took the drip tip off and the filler looks dry but the tank is full, is it supposed to be that way?? I'm a clearo guy, I've only used that carto tank a few times and ended up just letting it sit for months with juice and a dead carto in it, so I'm not entirely sure I'm filling it correctly. Thanks.

To properly prime a carto, it usually takes up to 40 drops. Those XL replacement cartos can hold quite a bit of juice. Anything less than 40 drops, and I've found it can taste like burnt electronics. So, 40 drops into the polyfill, going North, East, South, West while rotating the carto so the drips are dispersed evenly. Avoid the center air shaft at all costs. Shake it like a thermometer after every 10 drops. Slide it up into the tank, fill the tank, pop on your drip tip. Then screw it onto your battery or device and take some "dry" puffs -- hitting it like your normally would, only without hitting the fire button. You should see air bubbles coming out of the pre-drilled hole. Air bubbles are your friend. After several minutes, take a hit. If you feel nice vapor filling your lungs, exhale and enjoy. If it immediately tastes like burnt electronics and then won't fire, you didn't prime it enough and ruined the coil.

Once you get the hang of carto tanks, it's a whole new world.

I wouldn't recommend the condom method with flanged cartos, though.
