I've been using a ce2r4 lately, looking closely at the thing figuring out how it works and what could be done to make it better. So far I've noticed that I can't do some heavy chain-vaping. I need to wait a little between vapes to allow re-wicking.

Now, lets say we make an atty with 4 coils instead of one. Like in a diamond shape. Then we hook it up to a mod with some logic circuitry so that every time you press the button, the "in-use" coil rotates:

Draw #1 - using coil 0
Draw #2 - using coil 1
Draw #3 - using coil 2
Draw #4 - using coil 3

That way there will be plenty of time to allow re-wicking and by the time you get back to coil 0, its wick will be wet and tasty.

And since logic circuits are cheap, let's also add a "power vape" function that will turn on all coils at one... you know, for those "heavy stress" moments @ the office where you need a little more nic than usual. :D

I truly doubt I'm the first one that have thought about something like it... what you think?

this would be nice.
im feeling a square atty body for this, also would you have the connector set up as a 4pin but with the ground being the threads?

I thought about the connection options. Working with the a box mod, keeping all the electronics at the mod, you will need at least 5 lines. A common ground, and 4 positives for the coils. Definitely not a standard 510 connection. It would have to be something else. I'm an IT worker so I resolve everything with an RJ45.. :)

just throwing this out there...why not just make it mechanical? have it rotate like the weel of a revolver. take a puff the click the next atty into position over the terminals. would save from having to deal with electronics.

Because that will have to be marketed as "The Revolver" and I think the name is already taken in the PV arena. :p ....

I would also love to hit it with the all coils active mode... that would be interesting.

It would be like...

Guy #1 - I thought the reactor was off...
Guy #2 - It is off, that just Ruben from the maintenance crew, with his new multicoil atty.

and that would make me a very happy person :) Don't get me wrong I like some TH but I want VAPOR. I like being able to imitate a Fog machine :)
