MVP dying--what next?

So my mvp seems to be about giving up the ghost. I have a $20 vamo clone that I like quite well. Not sure Im a huge fan of the box mod and the mvp put a callus on my thumb.

I use a Russian 91 clone and aspire bdcs mostly. Don't care about subohming, but I get a low ohm coil from time to time, probably contributed to the demise of the mvp.

What next?

Budget I suppose sub 100.

Not totally opposed to a box mod, mvp does what I want/need except I prefer replaceable battery. Need it to preferably go down to 1.2 ohm for when I do such a coil on the Russian. I run 8w usually and that seems to do me fine.

Well the e-lvt is alot like the mvp except it uses replaceable batteries.
It can plug in to charge just like you did with the mvp.

For a box mod, in the $70-$100 range you have the IVP Mini (30w) and Smok Xpro (50w) coming soon. In a tube mod, good bets are the Innokin SVD 2.0 and the Joyetech eVic Supreme at around $99 from Vapor Beast and Fluid Vapes respectively.

The MVP has one of the worst fire buttons and it's not common for box mods to have such stiff buttons. I don't like the button on my MVP but love the box mod style over tube mods.

Never had an issue with the fire button , think it's perfect actually . I always replace an MVP with another MVP , if you charge it correctly (meaning proper voltage range) and follow a certain routine you should get a year or more out of them.

Nothing compares to me and the price is right.

I'm hoping that they do improve the fire button on the MVP, because it is a real issue for those of us with hand problems, I tried an Istick in the meantime, but it runs way hot compared to the MVP. Okay if you like higher settings, I guess.

I think my next mod purchase will be the SVD2, looks like a hell of a nice mod for 80 bucks. I really like my regular SVD. Would consider a higher watt KSD Vamo but I already have two Vamo, one KSD and one of those17 bucker's and I would tather mix it up.

I did try out an Istick at the B&M and actually liked it a lot, that thing is one hell of a bang for the buck.

For now I will live out my mod buying dream vicariously through all you other spenders

BTW: the low ohm/no ohm error on the MVP maybe due to the pin being stuck down--a common issue. I gotta pull the pin up regularly (and carefully) every so often on my "going ghost-less" MVP

The DNA 30 is the same size as an Istick but more boxy. The draw of the rDNA 40 isn't the extra 10w but the temp protection and buck circuitry. It also has built-in wireless charging. I just got mine today and it is awesome.

Thanks all. I stopped using the low ohm Russian on it and the MVP gave me a couple weeks worth of good use, but now its dead, 888,1e1, and wont turn on anymore just blinks red yellow green. Got a year or so out of it so I guess that's good.

Wish I had paid more attention to this thread, but I have ordered the istick.
