my atomizer has a bad taste

And did you put anything in there after you blew the primer out?

If you mean by "smoky taste" that now all you get is a harsh, dry flavor either you didn't get all the primer out, or you got all the primer out but didn't put enough liquids back in after you did it. A cleaned atomizer needs several drops of liquids applied or it's gonna taste harsh and sharp. If you didn't put any liquids in there after blowing the primer out, that "smoky" taste is from burning any remaining primer on the atty coil. You may want to rinse is out now with hot water, dry it, and start over.

Yeah, what Rick said. Plus, don't hesitate to just get a few more atomizers. For what they cost (not much), why screw around with one that isn't behaving itself.

Try calling Tim at esmokeronline and ask him what a good atty would be. The key to this whole deal is the atomizer, and making sure it works well with the voltage (and maybe amperage) of your battery.
