I don't think that there is any correlation between smell and taste. I.E., TFA Tiramisu smells AWFUL at any concentration, yet it tastes great about 4% or 5%.

I just think that it smells so bad because it's SO strong. Caramel Cappucino doesn't smell good either but a drop added to 6ML-10ML is amazing. I think it's just that the flavor is so concentrated.
This is very similar to the 'winning' clone that I have been sending around for taste testing
No cherry though. I'm using a cigar blend for the tobacco and find that the 'cherry/raisin' taste is coming from there. Few more days and I'll post my results.
I have a lot if those flavors coming in today but just realized I'm missing tobacco blend alc! D'ho!
Sorry to say that in my opinion TPA`s Tobacco Blend Alc. is the main tobacco base and dominant ingredient in Boba`s due to its similar combined smell and vaping taste of tobacco, alcohol and EM.

After my failure with my first NET of Captain Black pipe tobacco I'm hoping for good results. Even if it doesn't taste like boba's to me that sounds like a good recipe.

Puts it at 20% flavoring...didn't really care for it at first, funky smell too...but now a month later, very, very good!

Glad to hear. Tried most versions of clones I could find, my conclusions are that most certainly the original contains:
Tobacco Blend Alc.(TPA), Cherry Natural(LOR), Almond Natural(LOR)
Even tried mixing just these 3 ingredients at 5% each with VG base, the smell, vape taste, and a drop of it actual taste of the liquid itself is very similar to the original(I actually taste a drop of each liquid or mix)
So in my opinion this is the best version so far, maybe the percentages could use a tweak especially if using just a VG base.
Next I intend to try these with 5% each in a VG base, will post results..

I did this, I`ve let this steep for 7 days then placed for 3 hours in an ultrasonic cleaner but has no resemblance to me with Boba.
Instead I did into 5 ml mix:
4 drops black fire
5 drops Oba Oba
3 Coconut
2 Caramel
1 MTS Vape wizard
and what came out after 4 hour run in ultrasonic cleaner I`ve mixed it 50/50 with Dekang`s DK tab PG and it-s close but needs more sweetner.

Tried #2 just now. Measured a 5ml mix in 0mg VG and shook it up.
It has a good flavor, but the tobacco blend abs feels too dry for me. Maybe I'll try adding some EM after I let it sit a day.
I will say, so far this is my fav tobacco DIY I'm excited to taste it tomorrow.
I added some banana because I like gorilla juice.
