Think I am going to mess around with blending French Pipe, Black Cigar and another tobacco, maybe Honey Flu Cured or Tuscan reserve and see what happens.

I am pretty sure though that the French Pipe, or something very similar is the main base flavor. I also have a bottle of GJ and that even more than BB smells exactly like the French Pipe and if he said he removes two tobaccos flavors for GJ then the FP is the one that remains.

I think your on to something with your tobacco flavors. I just read this review of BB that is one of the best descriptions:

"So far the flavors I taste WITHOUT A DOUBT are honey flu cured, a dominant raisin flavor(it really comes out after steeping), and a rouding nuance of sweet bold Graham Cracker. These are the three flavors I pick up. In fact, when I chain vape Boba's for days I can ONLY taste the raisin.

Now, there IS this strange and obscure almost "grainy" nuance I taste. Maybe it's a soft black tea note, or black honey, maybe even a background note of the raisin. It's like a leathery, but earthy note. I am NOT certain but it is the only note I can't 100% make an educated guess on."

I've been sitting on an order for a while with Black Cigar, French Pipe, and Dunhill, but I keep flopping on whether to order Dunhill or the Honey Flue Cured.

BB and the Flue Cured from AVE share a tobacco flavor, but TFA Flue Cured was a dud in testing, too perfumey/floral.

I have heard that Honey Flu Cured is a good match for BB. I do not have it yet, waiting on my order that has that and a few other tobaccos.

I tried TPA's tobaccos and at that point I pretty much gave up on trying to make tobacco juices. Luckily I decided to give VZ's a try and so far I have loved every one. Black Cigar and French Pipe super concentrates are amazing all on their own and take very little flavoring. Can't wait to try out the other VZ's I ordered along with some Hangsen tobaccos.

Black Cigar and French Pipe are both great in my opinion. Even solo they make good juice, better than most store bought ones I have tried. Can't speak for Dunhill or HFC from them, but I will be able to tomorrow or Saturday when my order with both of them comes in.

Had I read this earlier (and seen that you're also in Saint Louis) I could have saved you the $, because I have those missing flavors that you just recently ordered :D

Where in Saint Louis are you? I'm in Fenton.

Nice, I work in Fenton occasionally at some of the movie theaters. I live out in O'Fallon actually. Never noticed you're in St. Louis, I've seen a lot of your posts and appreciate all your efforts and info.

So, how do you like Dunhill and HFC? I've heard great things.

It's been so long since I've tried the HFC, but the Dunhill I've had recently. I like it, but it's some-what of an acquired taste. I tried different variations of mixtures to make it overall more sweeter, but it just seems to stand out, even at very low %'s.

I recently mixed a bottle of:

0.5% Dunhill
1.5% Hot Cocoa (CAP)
0.5% Chocolate Fudge Brownie (CAP)
1% Coconut (VZ)
6% Cinnamon Danish (TFA)
2.5% EM

It's pretty much a recipe that I love (one of my all day's) with the Dunhill added. I'll have a taste now and see what it tastes like...

...actually, now that I taste this, I don't think it has the Chocolate Fudge Brownie in it. Even at that low %, the Dunhill sticks out foremost. It's earthy, almost grassy, or hay-like - I don't see it as being a flavoring in Boba's, but I think it would be excellent for those who enjoy a good pipe tobacco, or need to stave off intense cravings. If I were adventurous, I'd try a fresh bottle with some menthol.

Anyways, I'm curious to hear your results. How would you describe the French Pipe? Are there any flavors that you've personally tried that resemble it?

Nice, so that's your "something" recipe with some Dunhill. I've been wanting to give that one a try but have not gotten TFA Cinnamon Danish, only Caps CDS.

Oddly enough, the French Pipe smells so much like Boba's and Gorilla Juice but the taste has a lot in common with HHV's Legend (Gandalf), at least to me.

As soon as I get some Tuscan and HFC in I am going to try mixing the Black Cigar and French pipe with each one. Dunhill sounds appealing to me by the descriptions but don't think it has anything to do with Boba's.

Hey guys, I have been following this thread with a lot of interest. I decided to start looking at reviews for cigars. When I read this one I about fell off my chair. I hope in some small way this helps. Here is the link:cigarnubs.com/2013/03/08/xikar-hc-habano%C2%B2-review

Interesting....

So I've mixed up a batch of VZ's Black Cigar, French Pipe and Honey Flu Cured. Did around 1.5% each in 100%VG.

It does smell a bit like BB although a bit weak. Definitely smells good and even if it is not BB I am thinking this with a tiny bit of cream or a small amount of a fruit might be an amazing juice.

Going to let it steep for a few more days before I try it.

Now I need to get a Dr. Pepper. :)

I definitely enjoy sodas when I vape BB especially Coca-Cola.

Depends on what I'm vaping. Most of my personal blends are at low %'s, so something strong like soda generally isn't a good combo for my juices. I prefer water for all occasions, though there is one exception, and that's when drinking New Castle. Anything goes good with New Castle :)

I would be very interested in your findings on this one. Never thought of French Pipe, perhaps because my memories are from Dekang French Pipe, which I remember was very sweet. Especially interested on how the French Pipe reacts with the Tuscan.

I tried french pipe with Tuscan a while back, the combo didn't work so well for me. I was using RTS FP. It definitely has the musty note. The RTS version was a bit sweet IMO.
