Have you tried the GJ clone #6 that SloHand posted on pg 42 of this thread? Many have said they liked it.

As far as where the nic is coming from, I have given up on even trying to perfectly match every Ben quote that has ever been stated, whether quoted accurately or not, it is instead my goal to get as close as we can to the flavor and essence that is Bobba's.

Not yet, going to give it a try, when i find the time. :)

You know, I dont get the cinnamon in it either. But check this out....childhood memories?...beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/17981/53014/?view=beer&sort.

Have you read the comments for this beer? Sounds very much like descriptions of BB.

Thanks for sharing and yes, raisin/beer/oatmeal cookie/brown sugar/and even cinnamon is mentioned.

Trying to find the ingredients for gj. Not that easy..!
So i wonder if any of hangsen can replace ecig express.

Gorilla juice Clone #6
Black and Mile Plus 30.0%
Black Honey Tobacco 30.0%
Banana Nutbread 30.0%
Sweetener 10.0%

My guess from reading here is:
Black and Mile Plus = Hangsen Ry4
Black Honey Tobacco = Gold and silver and honey
Banana Nutbread. Cant find any source from tpa in eu

Any suggestion?

TPA has a black honey tobacco I believe.

Been following the thread still. My latest attempts with colas and some other things were a bust... but I know what direction NOT to go without guessing... which is progress in its own way.

For those still trting to twist or bend Slohand's #7 to work to fit bobas... it wont in any form. Its a great vape, and kudos for him sharing it, but it is imo no where near what bobas actually is. In fact I think my recipe using TA and cinnamon danish/graham cracker is far far closer. That being said, its still off in some ways and Im betting its on the flavoring manufacturer side of it. I need to order some VG based flavorings.

Does anyone have a source for VG based cinnamon and graham cracker flavorings?

I will say again tho, as I have many times now, I am still 99.5% confident the base tobacco is Tobacco absolute. This IS the source of that raisinesque flavor. There is little if doubt in my mind.

Black and mile flavorings or even french pipe to NOT make a comparable bobas in any form of percentage. I am an avid user of both those flavorings and have been a long time now. They just arent close. However you may find some good mixes by trying.

Just a newbie here and watching this thread. Getting the graham cracker flavor everyone talks about never quite hit me as that but when I saw your comment.. "might be a fig newton flavor instead of oatmeal/raisin cookie" that pretty much hit what I'm tasting instead of graham cracker.

What is difficult about this thing is that people apparently get varying flavors from the juice, and it even changes on my taste buds from day to day, but I've found that most juices do, so BB doesn't have a monopoly on that. My daughter tried it today, and she said, "Pipe tobacco" twice. She noticed the dark, deep essence in there. Then I mentioned raisin, and she did get that, but no graham cracker. I'm not getting graham cracker today or even any sort of bready flavors, but I did catch the supposed cinnamon note twice this morning. ha Seems like we need a "shrug/who knows" smilie here.

Of course, you do know that even if someone nailed it exactly, the flavorings would all be sold out in two minutes. :D

Can't agree more LOL! But you have to admit, #7 is a great vape :vapor: It still makes it in my ADV cycle.

I'm now experimenting (test # 43) and all I can say at the moment is that it's three flavors (not ingredients) and the one that is for sure is raisin. Would never have said that months ago. I have three "graham cracker" flavors from three different flavor companies and they are all distinctively different. One stands out as the graham cracker flavor and a drop of ethyl vanillian helps.

It's the tobacco that is so darn perplexing. Honey tobacco sounds right, but again, three suppliers and all different. Arrrgh!

The take I get on it is it's supposed to be an oatmeal/raisin cookie. Way back in the thread, I think Face Meat said his wife said the same thing.

Seeing this reminded me I've still got about 15mL of BB that's been sitting for a few weeks. I loaded up my REO Grand and had her taste it again. Keep in mind, she has no clue what "Boba's Bounty" is or why people care about it. She's an extremely casual and occasional vaper who doesn't give a rat's ... about the things we obsess over. However, she's got a keen sense of taste and smell, which I'm jealous of.

This is what she said tonight:

"It reminds me of tea. A sweet milky tobacco tea...the kind you make me in the morning (Lipton black tea with a pinch of sugar and a splash of milk...sans tobacco), but with some honey and cinnamon. It's like a shortbread cookie, it's got that sweet, buttery flavor with some raisins."

Could the drink that Ben has referenced be tea?

Slohand, I can't wait to try the #7.
I have the almond oil on the way.
I have everything else already.

Face Meat,
I seem to remember reading back in this thread that tea was mentioned, and that there is a type of tea called Boba.
Still looking for some to taste and do an extraction.

I did just get a shipment from VZ today, and have been playing around with some black cigar and french pipe.
Both great vapes.
Each remind me of notes in bobas.
The bc has a heavy chocolate note.

I dropped a few drips of black cigar that was mixed at 2.5% into my atty that I had been vaping one of my mixes in.
It is a banana nut bread/cin danish based mix with extra brown sugar and honey added at low % as background notes. Also .5% ta in that mix.
Dripping the bc ontop of that blew me away at how close it is to gorilla juice.

The french pipe at 2.5% is quite a bit stronger than bc at 2.5%.
So I was thinking of playing around with the fp around .5% mixed with bc at 2% or 2.5%.

Im playing around with mixing,
Cin Danish or Cin sugar cookie
Honey clover or Honey
Graham cracker dark or clear
Black cigar and french pipe
Raisin
TA very low %
Maybe a very light cherry or cherry cavendish extract that I have steeping.

I'll post % and notes if anything turns out.

I was looking at the recipes . I have a question about the %'s. Those are some high % aren't they? Like 30% of the b&m?

Sent from my XT912 using Tapatalk 2

The way I look at those numbers is the % listed is the % of the flavor mix, which is based at 15%
It's not a % of the overall mix including base and nic.
So if your mixing in a 10ml bottle, you'll have a total of 1.5ml of flavor.
So 30% of 1.5ml is .45ml for b&m.
I think this is correct.
