I could be wrong about this, but I thought Ben also said that there was no NET's in Boba's? Don't get me wrong, it's always been my guess that NET's had to be part of the recipe. What other reason, save preference, can there be for not offering 0mg tobacco flavorings? I personally still think it's something like a NET, but nothing is for sure... unless it is, for sure that is.

Your correct in the No NET statement, I cannot guarantee that was what was said by Ben, but I did read this somewhere, and pretty sure it was a statement by Ben, as well as his NO Alcohol comment.

I've read back as far as I could to see if he dropped any hints, but not much was said. I wouldn't expect him to say to much, nor do I believe everything he says, would be the whole truth, don't think he would out-right lie, but bending the truth to hide his "Bounty" would be something I would expect.

I to believe his bases to be tobacco extracts, NET, well hmm, maybe not, but what is his definition of NET, and could it be some other extraction method which does not fit under the NET as commonly known, some type of distillation? Only Ben, and his Wife probably know for sure. But as mentioned it does explain the no 0 nic offering, and his explanation. It could also explain some other things as well, we need a Sherlock Holmes kind of individual to latch on to this mystery!

Truthfully for me, the chase is fun, I don't mind supporting Ben's business, and even if a close tasting clone were to come about I would still buy my BB! Would be cool to know the truth, but I'm having fun experimenting and learning, various methods of extraction, and mixing. You can walk away with a lot from this thread, but a Boba's clone isn't among it!

Great thread, I have a pdf made of all the important, and interesting notes in this thread, and have read every post, even the ones which don't mean anything to the Journey! Every contribution is worthwhile in my opinion!

Grateful Thanks to all who have contributed!

This may sound like an odd question. It's for all my american friends :)

Is vinegar something that is commonly used on french (or freedom) fries? and if it is used on fries what kind of vinegar are you most likely to get when you ask for it at a restaurant? White, malt, apple cider or other?

I ask because it has always been my assumption that when I've referred to vinegar it's always white vinegar.

The English put Malt Vinegar on French Fries, Americans put Ketchup, I like Tartar Sauce.

I picked up the habit of mayo with my fries from the Flemish.

Bucket of mussels and frite in Brussels :) and a half brewed beer LOL.

But seriously, I'm interested in the various types of vinegar that have been used in making Boba clones as I've found that even in the tiniest amounts, vinegar has quite an effect and the various types adds to that variety of taste. That malty taste in boba's original is so incredibly elusive. Remember Slohand # 7 .... yeah well I'm on Slohand # 49 at the moment.

Here in the US - most table vinegar is Malt Vinegar...at least in all the places I've been to. Its the only thing my wife likes on her fries...

Malt vinegar on my chips (fries), Apple Cider Vinegar for my juice.

Unfortunately, I'm a Scot/Brit stuck in the deserts and mountains of Utah.

A different type of vinegar may be the answer. I went to a B&M vape shop that is very close to AVE headquarters. I mean close as in walking distance. There was a guy in the parking lot who was the owner inviting us in. I actually thought it was Ben for a moment. But it wasn't. I immediately started looking around for green bottles in the shop...but there was none to be found. I asked if they had BB, they said no, they make their own juice. They said the BB recipe could easily be had through the internet. I told them that I've tried some of the internet recipes and they don't hit the mark of BB for me IMO. They went on to say that the secret ingredient was vinegar. Gee I wonder what recipe they were talking about.

Anyways, one guy who works there said he made a BB clone for a customer and the customer said it was a close match. I wonder if I should have them make me a BB clone just to try it out.

It was my first visit to their shop and I ended up buying just a battery charger. I could've gotten the charger for a little cheaper online, but I wanted to give some support to their business.

I send a message to VZ and told me "there is some issue with your credit card, call your bank"
I called my bank, we did run a marathon of corfimations, online verifications and tests. The result was "There's a problem with the site, call them"

So.... I did a research on the net about that issue, found nothing at all.

Is your credit card a prepaid one? Some sites doesn't support ..... ok, im seding you a pm.

EDIT: anyone tried this yet? http://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/p-7568-mild-black-flavor.aspx
