I got it, can't tell the difference. I have a real bottle here, everyone I let smell it says they can't tell the difference. The flavor is dead on. It may not be exactly what he uses but I can't tell the diff.

I made a 5 mill bottle.

24mg nic
100 vg
6 drops of black and mild flavor
2 drops of cotton candy
2 drops of coconut

To this I added TPA Raisin (<< 2 drops of a diluted batch of raisin!) and 2 drops TPA Honey ... Good Stuff :p (Today I added 4 more drops of VZ's B&M and I like it stronger LOL)
Thanks for sharing! :) I didn't know where to start when I was thinking of trying to duplicate Boba's! Now I'm going to try to let it steep a week or so and see if it's better or too strong LOL)

3 drops (VZ) Black and Mild
2 drops (VZ) Coconut
3 drops (TFA) Smooth
1/5 drop (CAP) Chocolate fudge brownie
2/5 drop (FW) Cinnamon Churro

This is pretty tasty. If anything, it might be a tad strong on the coconut (those flavors really are powerful). I'm considering adding some TFA Banana Nut bread, :)

I made the OP's original and gave it a hot bath..... I mean a really hot bath, so hot that it foamed up. Never seen it in my short lived DIY carrer :)

Took a few toots and it taste like Pinot Grigio (White wine) ..... Is it possible to over cook the juice and kill the flavor..... I am more ofa red wine drinker

What is the steep time on this?

Merlin Im not a fan of hot baths for quick steeping really. I find letting it sit in a cool dry place works best. Try just letting it sit and let us know if you taste a difference. We know you will but hey i love hearing other people results.

I've done that before too. Just leave it in a nice cool place (shaking the bottle occasionally) and the viscosity of the juice will settle. You basically just steeped the hell out of it so when it settles it should be good to go.

Well put. I read all the Hype about Boba's for month's and finally got some about a 5 weeks ago. My bigest mistake was waiting two weeks before trying it so I missed the fresh Boba taste. I had bought into the let it steep a while and it will be better. When I finally vaped it I was amazed and loved it. it was balanced with cinnamon, graham cracker a little coconut and a hint of raisin. a week and a half later bam the cinnamon and graham cracker faded the raisin and nutty chocolate flavors came out and I thought what is going on. next the chocolate faded and now after 5 weeks the raisin is starting to fade.

Since I missed the first 2 weeks of flavor changes, I will order a fresh bottle in a few weeks and start over to see what I missed. :p

Although we have not made an exact clone yet, We have come very close.

This version is still the closest IMHO.

3% Cinnamon Danish(TPA)
3% Graham Cracker(TPA)
6% Black & Mild(VZ)
1% Coconut(VZ)
1% Mts Vape Wizard(FA)

It starts out with cinnamon, graham cracker and chocolate. Those fade and the raisin flavor comes in later but not as strong as Boba's everything is almost even nothing is dominant.

I still havn't figured out the nutty flavor. I think it is either hazelnut or walnut. I am working on that now.

I gave into the Boba's hype a couple weeks ago, and have been stalking this thread since then, as i primarily DIY, but love the Boba's goodness. I tried this recipe, let steep for a week. To my taste buds, the B&M dominates even after a week. Every once and a while i get a graham cracker/cinnamon hint a la Boba's at the end of the exhale. I'm going to adjust with reduced B&M. On a side note, my GF thinks Boba's and GJ taste and smell like beer, i'm contemplating getting some malt and/or beer flavoring. To me bobas, almost has a "salty" taste to it, even straight out of the mailbox. i never found it overwhelmingly sweet, I'm thinking some malt might add something here. If you've ever tasted malt extract for home brewing, to me it sort of has a raisiny taste. Good work all!

I've never purchased Boba's Bounty, so I have no idea what I would compare this to even if I did try and mix it. There's been so many tweaks to the original recipe here, I'd have no idea which one to start with. Without everyone saying their tweak is the best, which recipe would the OP suggest (since that's the one who appears to have put the most effort into formulating this)?

I mixed this up at the weekend. It tastes similar, but not necessarily the same as GJ.

0.1ml TPA Chocolate
0.1ml TPA Banana Nut Bread
0.1ml TPA Cinnamon Danish
10 Drops TPA French Vanilla
8 Drops TPA Sweetener

There's no tobacco in there, but I'm not sure it needs it.

I can't directly compare to GJ because my bottle is fairly old now, and seems to have completely mellowed in flavour. I cant taste the banana anymore at all, and I haven't been vaping it for weeks (at first I thought my taste buds had numbed to the taste of it).

I'm thinking maybe some date flavor? I ate a date the other day and it reminded me of Boba's. I still definitely want to try the malt angle, but the only malt flavor i could find was TPA malted milk...until i stumbled on these:

Malt: Organic Malt Flavor Extract
Date: Organic Date Flavor Extract

Any interest in a small/quick CoOp for some malt and/or date flavor? they only have huge bottles (2 oz is the smallest). Some older threads said folks had used NF extracts with some success, the ingredients are alcohol and natural flavors (no gum arabic or anything else).

I actually ordered some organic barley malt extract (should receive it today). Can't recall what put the thought in my head but a couple of months ago I convinced myself that maybe it had something to do with bobas. After reading up on it more it sounded like something that I would want try as a unique flavor even if it wasn't related. I'm very anxious to see what it smells like. Ill certainly post my thoughts if I think it's something that would work in the mix.

I don't really see this thread as a good guide for making Bobas because lets face it... none of you actually are.

I do really like this thread for a massive selection of dark sweet .... that has that dark flavor that I really enjoy. Keep posting up new recipes. This thread is a nice spot for my flavor zone.

Newbe here
do you guy's and gal's seep with caps and tops on ? or off?

If I use a super concentrate and want to take a little of the Alchohol bite out of the juice I'll leave the top off for about 30-45 min after the hot bath. Otherwise the top is always on for me... You'll probably get some differing opinions on this but IMO extended periods of time with the top off causes a loss of flavor.

I just got last night, I picked it up from NF. It smells really good but the alchohol concentration is very strong. Going to do a little evap on it this afternoon and try messing around with it tonight.
