I had a similar situation but mine wasn't as friendly. I got stopped at a football game by a police officer who saw me vaping. At the time I was using a Screwdriver MKII and if you've seen one you'd know it looks nothing like a cigarette and more like a crack pipe:/ He detained me for almost an hour while freaking backup came. They disassembled my Screwdriver, did some kind of test on my e-liquid that I was dripping and finally rudely let me go. As they let me go they were still acting as if I was some kind of criminal that got one over on them. It was horrible. That really got me down and I've left mods at home ever since.

That is a great story, with a happy ending.
My hubby is paranoid of us getting pulled over while I'm vaping. He's always saying cop, put that thing down. Lol. I have not seen 1 person here in Louisville,KY (other then the people I've converted) with a PV.
People in other vehicles always give a weird look while I'm vaping. I just smile and drive on.

LOL !! I have never seen anyone around here with a pv either. I'm also pretty careful about being seen by a cop. The cops around my hicktown area wouldn't be so nice as the previous story. And I'm not willing to loose my pv to them should they decide it was drug related & not believe me about it...

Don't the cops get the internet on their cruiser laptops? Or you'd think they could have someone at the precinct check the website where someone claimed to purchase their alleged crackpipe?
Yes they DO HAVE INTERNET ACCESS. I know one of our local sheriffs here. Problem is they don't want to take the time to look it up usually

Me too! I just cup the e-cig with the LED in my palm and thumb to button. Gotta get a stealth battery!

lol I love it. It's seldom a happy ending when I get pulled over.

True enough!!! I'm a hippie in appearance (and actions!) so I am always a little paranoid about vaping in public, I already get pulled over for 'Driving While Long-haired' occasionally, so I do what my policeman friends have told me -- if you don't want to get pulled over by the random officer, don't vape in front of them!!!!:)

I have given away a few dozen of the cards, I always recommend V4L for starting out just like I did!!!

LOL love the story. Glad to hear it ended to well. Last good one I had ended with the cop saying "Wow that's a big bag of swords" and letting me go.

Heh - I have a friend who is in the SCA - he came to visit, and we decided to show him around Buffalo, with some time in Niagara Falls (both US and Canadian sides)... unbeknownst to us he HAD a sword and armor collection in the back of his truck - and tried to go through Canadian Customs with them!!! Needless to say - they were NOT amused!

that was the coolest vape story ever!!! lol he was totally abusing his power but it was for the greater good! lol I love it! thats really awesome! I wanna tell that story!

Feel free to tell away! as for abusing his power - yeah, probably, but I see why he did it... I probably would have done the same, if I was hungry enough for info...

i keep those v4life cards with me but i can just see some cop thinking its a new type of "pipe" .

my cop (sounds weird to put it that way, but what the hell...) DID make a brief reference to it maybe being paraphernalia, but didn't push it that way - THAT would have had me wigging out (I stopped doing ALL the drugs over 20 years ago!).

have you tried looking (with a fresh perspective - ignoring all that you know about e-cigs) at the (ahem) "wealth of dis-information" on the net regarding e-cigs? I know MY first venture into digging for info on them resulted in A LOT of confusion for me, and my wife (my personal "research witch" -she digs deeper than anyone I know for info on ANYTHING!) including the "anit-freeze" crap - she was REAL nervous about my desire to vape off analogs...

Oh - "ThankU4Vaping" - THAT would make a cool sign! kind of like the "thank you for NOT smoking" stuff... hmm...
have to locate a graphic artist now!
