My first foray into using a regulator and tiny switch, works pretty good for me :)

Tried out using one of the "coffin" boxes from madvapes. Threw in one of their 5v regulators to use "mosfet like functionality" to not fry the tiny little super clicky round ball switches, and a 18350 battery. working good a month into using it. The switch is the one they sell that has the higher activation pressure. haven't had a problem with it firing in my pocket or anything. Kind of messy inside, and all i had sitting around when i was building it was a piece of cardboard to pop the positive terminal on, really should change that, but works for now. Probably would be enough room left over in the bottom to pop in a 18490, but i don't have any batteries that size.

yep i used it because the switch from madvapes cannot handle the load from an atty or carto. Tactile Switch with Round Actuator, 300g There wasn't enough room for one of the big 2A switches. All around a decent little pocket mod for me at work. I move furniture and am always carrying big dressers and stuff around, don't want to mess up a nicer one. and yeah, once it gets the battery close to dead, it shuts down and won't fire anymore. usually lasts about 10 hours on a charge with a 1.7 or 2 ohm single coil carto in the lavatank. and yep that is the regulator i used from madvapes. very easy to work with and simple enough to just follow their instructions on building a 5v mod.
