theres no fail, its clean and neat with lots of features. Great job!!!! I am interested in trying that vv board. It looks pretty to use. I been using the TI board, I like it but, think I am gonna give that one a go. Where did you get that board?
Meh, it's good and roomy. The first is an exercise in getting the electronics to work. After that, you can work on cramming everything into a smaller or better-looking case.

I always just look around for things I think would make an attractive mod. It's all personal taste. I happen to prefer tube mods mostly, and pipe mods. Madvapes has a few boxes. Obviously, so does the rat shack. Again, though, anytime you're looking to build a mod, it will come down to finding what appeals to you - and then figuring a way to fit the features you want into that shell.
Also, because I didn't say it in my original post and meant to - Awesome job! How's the vape?
That's a very clean job MJ. I was checking out the board that you linked to and I was excited to see an American supplier until I noticed the drop down voltage on these is 2.5V. If I understand correctly, the voltage on your batts fresh off the charger will be 8.4V but that will drop to operating voltage of 7.4V pretty quickly for those smaller batts. Does that mean you can only get up to 4.9V for the greater part of the vaping cycle??

@vpn: I have it running at about 5 volts most times without issue. (that is to say about 5v without load.) i'm not sure about past that since i rarely go up that high but i'll give it a whirl in the morning.

yeah just topped out at about 5.3 under load. pretty close to the "6v" that you find on most devices.
