My advice would strongly be to save up and get your hands on the real McCoy. Your instincts are good and you now know how much you'd appreciate one.

Whatever hell that mod puts you through (and it will), don't hold it against the real reo.

Here's the one on Focal cigs, looks the same as the one I purchased

It does say "style" and so does the Angel cigs one. I should have caught that and didn't.

Have any of you tried the bottom feeder atomizers on Focal ecigs?
Also the last velocity I bought came with what looks like a bottom feeder pin. I'm wondering if a hole still has to be drilled into the deck and or post somewhere?

No need to drill anything out. You will see when you use it. It goes all the way through the positive block.

If money is an issue he has cheaper options like some clearanced models and then there's the blemishe'd reos that pop up from time to time.. you could even call him and ask if he has one even if you don't see one on the site!

I can't wait for you to get a real reo and compare them.

That's the sad part, I had my eye on one and then saw this. I figured I had one, and then spent what was left in other areas, e-juice, attys and such.

Came today in the mail!

I couldn't believe it, I found one on Angel Cigs for $26.00

It's a Reo Grand. The inside has the gold spring and magnets, so I'm thinking it's a Sl. I can't believe how pretty it is. It also has the black mech mod push button. It's black, matte finish.
I use a kindle mostly and it doesn't do justice to a lot of pics. Honestly, I wasn't impressed just looking at the pics, and that really put me off for awhile. Then I watched some videos by Super_X_Drifter. And decided I have to try one of these.
I find it surprisingly elegant and classy! It fits so nicely in my hands too
I will be getting more Reos as income permits!


I also have a few questions. How can I tell the difference between a grand and a low profile grand?
I suspect it is the grand and not the low profile grand, is there a simple way to tell the difference?
Should I wait till I get some Noalox before using it? Can I get Noalox locally like at a hardware/Wal-Mart store?
I have a small 510 atomizer and drip tip, and I can't wait to give it a try!!

Welcome to the forum Pearl , I'm sorry you didn't get the real thing but at least you can try squonking. The clone is not a low profile so the atty's you can put on it are limited, I think when you decide to go for a Reo you will be surprised by the startling difference in quality. redeyedancer welcomed you to the forum is the owner of REO and the father of squonking so if you want to get an RM2 atty check them out and everything Reo on his website reosmods.com.

Well, at least, hopefully this will inspire you more to acquire a real REO! They do come up here on the ECF classifieds often, if you're looking for a deal on one. Pretty sure there's a couple active sales right now. Or, save your pennies for a nice new shiny one directly from Rob

Just an observation. I have another high end authentic mod and tank or 2 that came out this summer and I have now seen pic of clones that even I would have a hard time spoting the differences from the originals. I think it's really funny that no one seems to be able to make a clone of a REO that's not so obvious.

I think that says a lot about how well thought out the design is and how the people that want to copy it dont understand what makes it special and why it works so well.
