Let me show you them :)

If anything else i am missing then let me know...

Need to get:
More batteries from RTD but how many for each REO? I was thinking 2 for each mod.
I am waiting on this charger xtar VP1
Need another RM2 for backup
More unflavored nic juice and thankfully its very cheap at Wizard Labs

What i already have is:
#REO mods, 4 of them<--- most important :)
#RM2<--- love this
#XTAR WP2 II
#XTAR MP1S
#Prewound NiChrome coils with extended leads<--- I use cotton so have to throw away the Silica thread wick. I got a 5 pack for 5 bucks. Super easy for me to use :)
#510 Voltage Indicator Rev 2#
#Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter
#Box of 50 LR 2.0 Boge cartos
# 10 Shorty cartos

What else is necessary except 2 more Reo's

For me, I would add:
1 repair kit for each REO type.
1 spring for each REO type.
2 spare screws for RM2
2 spare o-rings for RM2
2 spare juice bottles of each size

I know this is overkill, but I feel better knowing that I can get any of my REO's working in the event of a failure. (Never heard of one, except from the coil standards committee.)

List looks good. Extra springs good and maybe a spare cap n cap o-ring/tube for each size REO. I like to have minimum six batteries for each size REO (six sets 18350 for VV). When I travel, even if only an extended day, if I take two REOs I take all the same size. Less batteries to have to take and keep up with.

Couple little nylon zipper cases for batteries and spare bottle and/or emergency atty/carto. Like the ones RTD has. (Although for daily throw in purse I use a hard plastic case for spare batteries as it's easier to find in my big purse.)

Thanks Alice, i was wondering how many batteries was a good number to have.

I like to be prepared :) Now i am thinking of a solar powered charger just for my batteries.

Our car has a 110 volt outlet. So, in the event of a major power failure, if the genny for the house is not working, there is always the car! *LOL*

Maybe small portable chargers have improved but the old ones I have take for frigg'n ever to charge even 1.7v batteries; days to charge D cells even in bright TX sun.

I find auto 12v best for emergency. Some of the chargers have a 12v plug or you can get a pretty inexpensive 12v to 120v transformer to use with 12v sockets. The transformers do use a little more of the battery than straight 12v especially if they have a cooling fan.

Last resort would be an emergency battery. We keep several as our power goes out frequently. Some have a 120v transformer built in but some have only 12v socket(s). A couple new ones have USB out. Great for small gadgets like cell phones and tablets.

But best defence is keeping a bunch of REO batteries charged up. That should get you through several days without power.

BTW.. I have one small emergency radio/flashlight (1 of 4) that has wind or solar or plug in to charge. It also has USB out for powering/charging cell phones. I imagine it would take a lot of winding, over extended time to charge a 3.7v battery. It probably doesn't have high enough voltage nor amps output though.

There are some pre assembled solar kits you could get with separate solar panel. You would need 12v panel with pretty high watts. Or you could assemble your own. There's been some discussion about this around. I forget the watt numbers needed to be adequate. Easiest way is to charge 12v battery (preferably deep cycle - golf cart battery most ecconimical, available, and manageable size) with a decent sized solar panel and charge controller.

Probably this suggestion. But I will have to wait a while to work it into my budget.
