My LP RM2 build - What's yours?!

Here are some pics - I may tend to use more cotton but hey - that's how I roll right now! I'll be doing some different things I'm sure when the new attys hit Roesmods websight but for now, the RM2 is a beast!

I like to wrap my cotton under the coil as well to get it extra juicy and make sure the coil stays wet. Cotton I use is he CVS sterile cotton (BIG BOX). Coil is 28g Kanthal wrapped around a 5/64 bit then smooched together with needle nose pliers and small hobby torch.

My ADV is Rip Trippers Nana's Cream. I dropped from 12nic (in my Aspire nautilus-I rebuilt the coils to a micro 1.2ohm for my ProVari) to 6nic for the Reo. The flavor is nothing short of AMAZING. Used this same e-liq in my R91 and various Kayfuns and with the Reo+RM2 I get more robust flavor notes.

I use a nice amount of cotton also, but I always make sure that the bottom of the coil is open for air passthrough. That's where the REAL yummy flavor comes from.

From where you are, just grab a real thin screwdriver of syringe and just place it under the coil and separate the cotton just a bit. Just so vapor can come from beneath it.

Believe it or not I learned that not long ago AND while dealing with RM2's. It actually works for all attys in all mechs... but who cares about those guys. It's all about that yummy ... flavor we're getting out of the Reo's.

New build. I watched all of superX vids and decided to go to work improving my vape. After a few hours a day the last 2 days I think I finally have a winner! I love this build! Oh and I backed off the cotton a ton too....keeping it squonked seems the key to fresh tasting juice every time instead of too much cotton sitting in juice that's not getting vaped (thanks X).

I may give the vertical a try. That looks like it would get better air flow around the coil.
Do you get a hot leg with one being longer than the other?

What is the advantage of the vertical?it seems like with the coil that high it might be a bit on the hot side. Is that the case?

Not hot - but warm. I love warm vape though. I am getting MUCH more vapor and flavor with very little "inhale" effort. I have a standard RM2 - not drilled out air hole so ymmv. No hot legs just fast burning coil though - may just be my perception but seems to fire faster than the horizontal coil wrapped the exact same way. I do know I am getting more flavor/vapor production though.

Found heaven! Rayon wick, vertical coil. OMG the flavor. If you get too much squonk the flavor can be a bit muted so have to tinker with that but all round VERY clean, fresh taste. I am loving it!

This will last you a life time...
