Back in my early, EARLY, ecf days I stumbled on your micro-coil guide. And I was like wow. He is definitely a vape god. Never even imagined I'd be having conversations with you. So just imagine someone back over half a year ago thinking of you as like a vape-celebrity hahaha. If that doesn't make your day I don't know what would.

Oh no, my opinion hasn't changed. There are even many here who I don't know what they've done, but seem to be well revered in this community. There's definitely a social structure/hierarchy here. I am glad to take the village idiot roll. (Yes, this gives everyone access to open fire on me if I ever say something wrong. Go wild as long as I learn something new)
The ingenuity and I don't know what to call them, carpentry/shop skills? Of some of the people here with all of their fine-tunings of these mods are astounding. If I ever think of an idea, I know just to search and someone else has already done it better than I was thinking lol.

Ok, so the job is yours. Every time I post her to a new REOnaut, i will defer to you to advise on what juice is on tap and what kinda builds you have going.
She could have different flavored juices in each " bottle"
She could have different coil builds and / or wicks in each RBA.
She could mix up any and all variables throughout the day.
The sky is the limit and it's yours to run with.

Well, it looks she's got herself a treat today. Some pluid just arrived and she's all loaded up with that in a .8 ohm micro-coil. She's all ready to gunk up her new feed tube and that poor cotton wick. Let's hope she doesn't forget to dry burn!
And in her other bottle she's got the coveted unflavored nic. May sound strange at first for some flavor junkies, but after a few puffs on a nice, hot, .55 ohm dual coil, you just may be hooked!

Nice coil! I think you have a bit too much, is it easy to slide side to side or is it tight? You want it to slide so it has room to expand when it soaks up the juice. You tails are also a little long.

I have hit the 24hr mark of using my REO/RM2 combo and my throat is trashed! I have vaped for 1.5 years and I've never felt pain or discomfort after any vaping period like I am now.
My current setup is as follows and shown above in pics:
1ohm microcoil with 28ga kanthal
CVS organic cotton small piece with short tails
I don't know if I have dry burned in excess and inhaled or what can be going on. I do notice that my wick runs dry after 2 pulls and 3 full squonks. I am a mouth to lung inhaler.
Do I need to:
- Wrap a higher ohm coil
- Change to 32ga
- Change from cotton to silica
Your help is appreciated!!!

I think maybe you are not letting the juice soak into the wick long enough.
Your 1 ohm coil is very hot and will dry the wick quickly. If you are doing long pulls it will deplete the juice after just a couple.
Make sure you are squonking enough to cover the wick. Wait a few seconds before vaping.
You also might try a coil that is a little higher. I would say a 1.2-1.5. See how that does for you.
Silica tears up my throat. Cotton does not.

Are you still using the same juice/nic level?
Some have had to drop down their nic level.
Personally I did not cut my nic level but I did cut my flavor by 75%.

Just squonk more brother Pauly. Kinda like ashing a cig. A good 3 second press every hit or two is how I usually roll.
As for the sore throat, dunno. Never got one of those and I run a similar setup.
I do run 12mg nic base in a very high percentage of VG though and vape about 3-5 ml a day.
