That's sweet dude! May I ask why you decided to make the legs of the coils as long as you did? One more question as well. Been thinking about getting a REO (that is what you are using right?), how does the juice feed into the bottom of an rda? Do you have to drill a hole for it or what? I know it may seem like a crazy question, but I've always wondered how the bottom feeding bit works.

well I was trying to get the airflow through the coil, so I wanted the end as close to the airhole as possible.

as for the Reo bottom feeding design, the juice squirts up the center of the post and wets the wick when you squeeze the reservoir bottle through the window in the door. This is called 'squonking'. :)

The RBA is a RM2 sold on reosmods.com and is designed to work perfectly with the Reo. No modification needed.

You can also use factory made disposable atomizers if you prefer.

RM2 + Reo Grand is as close to a perfect mechanical mod as you can get. Rob's Reo bottom feeders combine the performance of a dripper with the convenience and reliability of a tank for the ultimate all-day-vape. It rocks!!

I like to vape some thick steeped juices and after a while the coil starts getting gummed up with caramelized juice and oxidation. :/

back to the drawing board...

Just do a couple of dry burns and rinse it off and you are good as new!

I've been using the bed of cotton method for a while now. I also like thick, gunky juices and I change the cotton several times a day with dry burns. I'm always trying to achieve max flavor so I'm going to have to give this a try.

Cool stuff.

How does the cotton bed, or cloud as I've heard it referred to, work in the RM2? Do you like it? (Obviously if you continue to do it...)

I used this method with my igo-w, but had never seen it done in an RM2.

cotton beds work great on a RM2. I just figured since I had no threaded wick, id try to do something fancy with the airflow. But the diameter on a nanocoil is so small it got gummed up after a few hours. I could dry burn it but then I'd be changing the bed several times a day.
I also found I had to relearn how to squonk. I ended up squonking half as much juice twice as often.

I might try the same thing with a larger coil. like 1/16 or 5/64.

Man I wish my RM post holes were arranged like that instead of each pointing in completely opposite directions.

I readjusted the shorter one (dunno which is pos & neg on the rm2) with a safety pin. I think mine shifted from over tightening of the screw. Still works just fine.

Set your multimeter to volts and connect the probes to your atty. Hit the button and watch the meter. If the result shows positive, the post touching your red probe is your live and the black is your ground. If the result is negative, the opposite is true.

I actually use very little cotton. Roll it into a ball and push it into the coil on the side opposite the air hole. I take a pokey tool, like a toothpick, and push the cotton under the coil and around to the side opposite of the feeder hole. I keep the feeder hole totally unobstructed. So far this method has worked really well for me. Doesn't look too pretty but I feel I get far better flavor than if I wich through the coil.

I'm trying the cotton 'bed', or 'cloud', right now. So far so good. You definitely gotta change your squonk. I'm gonna roll with it for at least the rest of the day, then change again and compare to just regular cotton wick.

That's the method I use, the cotton doesn't burn as easily as it does when it is IN the coil, and with a nanocoil it is difficult for my old eyes to thread the coil so it is a win/win for me.
