I'm really enjoying this. Didn't think I'd like the bottom switch, but I really do. It's mechanical and seems to offer a hotter vape on my old style v4 ce2's... almost too hot!

Uses 14500 batts.

Looks pretty cool. Is the design based on the pure smoker prodigy? I have been tempted to make puresmoker products like the icon or prodigy, partially to see if I can (no circuit boards!) and partially because I believe it would be cheaper.

I simplified it quite a bit so that the battery doesn't move and only uses 1 spring. I will post a how-to when I finalize it.

good job. how good was the fit for the end caps? do you have to use anything to keep them snug? i have been wanting to do one of these for a while just havent decided how i want to do the switch.

Switch is an aluminum "sex bolt" or binding post. The smallest at my hardware store with a spring on the outside of the cap. I have a zip tie in there now as a spacer between the battery and the cap. I have a better way to do it, but details will come later.

Oh yeah.. The caps have to be gently squeezed for them to fit tight enough not to come off. Be careful because too much = ruined cap
