My new worst fear...

Along with anything new come new worst fears.

You read about fears here all the time here...health concerns, vapocalypse, bannings of liq nic sales/VG/PG, ceasing production of fave parts...you get the idea. But everything I've experienced or read about or seen up to this point seems to have some sort of workaround or alternative, so nothing's nothing's bothered me too much on this new journey so far. Until now.

Because finally, after months of trying gazillions of flavors and mixes of various proportions, I've found my favorite juice...my all day, everyday vape that is standing the test of time. The one I could stay with forever. The one I can't live without. The one I'd mourn if it went away. The one.

So omg omg omg what if it does go away?! What if he gets bored and stops making it? What if the recipe dies with him? Can I make him promise to pass it on? Torture it out of him like Jack Bauer would? Should I buy 100 gallons now? (No, it'll go bad! Can I freeze it?) What if....

I'm almost...no, make that I am...in a panic! 8-o

I know everybody's fears are different, maybe silly to some but very real to them. Does anyone else have a fear like this? Does anything make you panic like this? Or am I, as usual, weird?

I've thought the same thing. What I did was continue to buy different juices, and found a second ADV.

Here's the kicker.

I was buying 60 ml of juice #1, and loving every second of it. I was buying 30 ml of juice #2, and vaping it once in a while. One day I take a drag of juice #1, and the taste is WAY off. I think maybe it went bad (overnight???) so I open a new bottle and take a vape, same "new" taste. Contact the vendor asking if they changed the recipe. Nope, but we'll send you a new bottle just in case. Get new bottle, vape, same "new" taste. Now I'm lost. Remember juice #2, vape, tastes great! Now I buy 120 ml of juice #2 a month, and never buy juice #1 ever again. Juice #2 is now juice #1.

You know what everybody says in our community, backups for your backups. I think juice should be included in this. Today I have my 70% of the time ADV, and three others that cover the other 30%. I figure that way if the same thing happens there won't be the same panic as last time.

Ah...tastes change, yes. I see and have had that happen with a few others that I thought for a while were the one. I tried this one early on and stuck with it and it just got better and better, so that's how I knew it was the one

Yes, DIY...that's part of the fear...can just see the obsession happening...DIYng myself to death trying to replicate it.

I've been trying (with some limited success) to duplicate my favorite tobacco flavor in my own small, evil DIY lab.

Some of my test batches have been... GASP... better tasting.

I'm also curious as to what your Neo Juice is.

Yes, DYI...that's part of the fear...can just see the obsession happening...DYIng myself to death trying to replicate it.

Some thing else to share, You can DIY with all of the dud flaves that accumulate in your search. It is like semi-DIY. Take one that is too strong and mix it with a bland choice or so. I have been buying for 10 month now have a collection of not so nice stuff. I can say that I have resurrected a few of them.

my favorite is DIY Juicy Peach using TFA Juicy Peach flavor,,,,,,,

yeah, sometimes it's just dang hard to find,,,,,

Wizard Labs hardly EVER has the stuff,,,,,,,,RTS vapes I can buy it in 120ml (thank god) when they have it,,,,,,,,this past time, I accidentally ordered REGULAR peach,,,,,,,

and it appears they are OUT of the Juicy Peach again.

sigh. and what if TFA stops making the stuff?????? GAAH!!!!!!!!!! my nightmare!

My fear is my vendor no longer making any liquids. Since they've just opened a B&M, I think it's safe to say they will be around for a while. My liquid favorites have changed, but I still go with different flavors from the same vendor.

I tried to find a backup vendor, but nothing came close to mine. I really hate trying tons of different things.

Did any of that make sense?

Yes! I'm getting closer to DIY and already add organic honey flavoring or a grape flavor I don't love by itself to my Earl Grey juice, and it's yummy. But this week I'm having trouble finding the honey at the two suppliers I usually get it from.

But...but...this one has been number one for a while now and has almost made me stop looking! (Almost...I'm not dead!) Funny thing was that it was my son who found and ordered it and let me try it. My first reaction was...meh. But then I got to know him...I mean it....

WL is great, but they are out of stock on everything lately,,,,,

RTS vapes has a 30 ml vial of the stuff for I think about 5-6 dollars,,,,,,,

This fear of your favorite being discontinued isn't limited to just juice! Seems lately so many of my favorite [insert product names here] are being either discontinued or "newly improved." At first I stressed about it, but then discovered that there's always something else out there that does just as well, if not better. Lay in a comfortable supply, and if/when the time comes, you can enjoy the search for your next favorite!
