Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Imeo, can you tell us the font you use for the GGTS engravings so we can go forth and have our own engravings done? I'd love to have my iAtty, brass TB, Odys, AVS, and UFS all engraved!

font is "monotype corsiva" rw. But maybe I will make my own font so noone can copy it. I have seen too many copies around (without engraving of course) but copiers will not stop to something like this

Oh my god. I never thought you'd actually share the font with us!! Please don't change it though! The lettering, like everything else on the GGTS, is PERFECT just as it is. I think you can find a more discreet way of authenticating your work than creating your own font, but I'm sure whatever you come up with will be equally, if not more elegant than what is currently in place.

Good plan, but I can see that you've already made some slight changes to the font, but I'm assuming that's just because the engraver only cut out around the outline of the text? Anyways, I'm going to play with it and try to come up with some neat stuff now that I have the font. I saw some1 had an image (just black and white, not a pic of the actual engravings) of the new engravings, don't suppose anyone has a link to that image?

When I received one of my new bottom engraved tubes to make my new GGTS's one was slightly marked on the side so I gave it a full buffing. The mark is totally gone but what I noticed was that I purposely buffed right over the engravings and there was no issue at all. In fact I found that if anything the new engravings actually require a buffing to smooth the edges. What I did notice is that after the buffing they loose a little of the black coloring but frankly that's a good thing.

Yes I agree Imeo, these will last forever. My personal opinion is I would have preferred them with the gold inlay color instead of the black. I feel the gold gives a more classy effect than the black.

+++++++10 on that. Dark gold is more elegant and classy for finest in the world GGTS
