Same here.:D I've had my Prodigy V1 since August, no problems what so ever. I did buy a replacement switch anyway since they aren't making them anymore. USB Passthrough since July no problems. Got my Protege in October I believe, again no problems. I'm still using the original tach switch, works just great. I did buy a mech switch just in case though. I got the V2 in December and it's worked beautifully since I first fired it up. I did take out the switch just to check it out after reading about all the problems people were having with theirs. Doesn't seem to hard to figure out or work on if problems do arise in the future. I can't believe I haven't had any problems, I rarely luck out on anything.:p

I have two V1s with the original tact switch, first run batch. Never had a problem with the switch on either of them. The switch on my V2 works well, though occasionally I feel the need to wiggle the switch some while presing it to get a better contact. Personally I prefer the original tact switch, but admire the simplicity of the new switch. Not much to go wrong there.

I'm on my second day with my new V2. I must say that it wasn't ready out of the box, I was getting inconsistant hits. After reading here, I decided to try the o-ring and Naolox. This worked but required a hard press. I then tried rotating the contacts to rounded sides, but this caused things to get worse for me, so I rotated them back.

After doing all of this, I am able to get it to fire now, but again, have to press pretty hard. The rear battery spring also came off. It only took a few minutes of tinkering to get it back on.

I will say that I am a little disappointed, but the design does allow it to be easily worked on. I am going to run with this for a couple of more days and reserve final judgement.....
