OK, I thought as my first weekend as a vaporer closes, I'd give my thoughts on what I think of vapeing so far, and maybe I could hear about your earlier experinces and how they differ, if you agree disagree.

First off, I have two Smoking Everywhere GOLDs. Yes I know, SE, lets get that out now, but one of these kits was free which made the price slightly more reasonable. I only payed 103 for both kits, and about 25 cartridges.

When I got my package I was excited, I had been trolling this forum every hour I was awake for the last week waiting on this thing, and I pretty much destroyed the packaging to finally get to it.

There was a slight learning curb to actually smoking them, but honestly not a very high one at all. My learning curb to learn how to smoke regular analog cigarettes was way higher. It took me a week of smoking before I actually got a buzz because I wasn't inhaling without realzing it. When I finally did, my innocent ... thought there must be weed or something worse in the cig because I "felt funny". Anyway, a few practicie draws in the mirror and I had it.

The wierdist thing to me about vapeing is that you don't even notice the transtition taking place. After the first day without analogs, I was taking walks and doing active stuff I hadn't done sense smoking. I wasn't craving nicotine, and I didn't notice any transition.

But subtlty comes in many forms. If there is a downside to vapeing for the purpose of dropping the analogs its that it doesn't feel quite as much like smoking as you'd think watching videos of it being done before you try it. For one thing like an ignorant cave man you slowly begin to form the scentence: "Smoke dry. Vapor wet." This makes it feel sometimes like your not really inhaling anything because its so tame, even with a strong flow of vapor and a high yield of nicotine. You can get what the veterans call a 'throat hit' but that doesn't feel anything like the harshness of an analog. Which in the long term is a good thing. But in the short term, its a bit like using a condom. Its no where near as pleasurable but its a hell of a lot safer.

The trick there is to just keep puffing. No matter what. Every time you think your sick of puffing air and you want an analog, drag on that e-cig like its your last meal. Because when you get over this hump the high yield nicotine liquid will catch up to you, and I've found the result becomes very different.

With this high nic stuff I can no longer puff and puff away. A couple of decent drags and I am good for a while. This may not be appropriate for some people, who should go with a lower nicotine dose so they can vape for as long as it would take them to smoke. And vapeing around smokers I didn't want an analog at first but when after two puffs I was ready to quit and everyone else was still enjoying there first cigarette, it was a challange not to ask for one. However for convince sake, the high output juice does kill the physical craving in a hurry, but a lower dosage might be better for getting rid of that psychological craving to hold a cigarette and make love to it for five or ten minutes.

The best part by far though is this: I'd almost recommend any doubting newb vape for about three days, and then smoke an analog. Go ahead, you know you want to, do it.....Who do you hate more yourself or the cigarette? If your like me its a hard debate. After trying an analog after three days of vapeing, sure I felt a little guilty, but far stronger than that was how disgusting the cigarette tasted. I felt it was actually good to try the analog one more time, just to realize what I am NOT missing.

On your next order Purchase a Joye 510 Manual Kit youll get that throat hit and honestly now Marlboro Reds feel like lights to me... You get 2 atomizers with each kit as well as 2 batteries and Jason @ ElectroNicStix sells them right now for $47.50 a kit which is a hell of a deal in fact for the $103.00 you spent you could have gotten 2 complete kits of the Joye510 which is equal too 4 complete PV's check out the Joye510 sub forum here and youll see why so many love it...

My 2 x 901's and fixings including 5 x 20ml bottles of 18mg e-juice arrived today from eastmall in China. It passed through Australian Customs opened and inspected. They left me a letter inside the package stating "Opened for Inspection" and "No items have been removed by Customs." Either it was my lucky day, or they are ignoring the ban.

I ordered 40 x atomized cartridges and was amazed to find there was no wadding inside them, so I used the T-bag method I had read about on these forums.

My first impressions are good. I am amazed how similar they are to smoking the real McCoy!

Welcome to vaping bro. I also just started recently, and discovered that what some consider low nicotine (11mg), was more than enough for my bro and I!

Thanks Mate.

I've been smoking for 35 years (started at 15) and quit New Years Day.

Purposefully became a hermit and gave up alcohol (almost as tough as quitting) and was tobacco free until a couple of weeks ago when I went to my local Pub. That's when I started being one of those irritable X-smokers, bumming smokes off my mates.

Sure glad I found out about these e-cigs. After my sampling today, staying off the Analogs is going to be a piece of piss!

Yeah,

In the sample pack of 5 x 20ml bottles I ordered from eastmall, They had 3 options: 36mg-18mg-0mg. If you order 1 flavor, they give you more strength options. I might try 6mg. The less addiction the better.

The one thing I've noticed through my own observations today, that I haven't read on this forum, is the angle at which you hold your e-cig. Maybe it's peculiar to my brand, but I get much better "hits" if I keep the unit pointing in a downwards direction.

I have been vaping for oooh nearly a year now and I feel much better for it! The only thing that is getting to me right now is the power issues, carrying a penstyle, USB passthrough and USB battery pack not to mention juice, spare cartridges, spare charged e-cig with me at all times but its worth it and there are new battery modifications being thought of and built daily! Its only a matter of time and finding an inexpensive one and mine and your power worries will be over!

How do you find your overall costs compared to Analogs. I've read various claims on this forum.

Lol. I just put my e-cig in the ashtray.

I think I have saved a bit of money I hope, a pack of 20 cigarettes here is £5 I smoked one pack a day so about £70 for 2 weeks, an atomiser which on average lasts me 2 weeks is £7, a bottle of juice for 2 weeks is about £20 and batteries and replacement passthroughs I spend about £40 every 3 months or so!

£27 vs £70!! I would say £50 vs £70 since I can't resist buying nice shiny cranberry coloured atomisers as spares and Janty keep tempting me with new toys!

Sounds similar to Oz prices with conversions. No price on your health.

I was raised in America for 17 years, and remember buying a pack of smokes at the Servo for .59 cents. The government doesn't miss a trick.
