Kemosabe, it allows you to use 18500 or 18650 batteries with the mini. And IMHO looks better than the 18650 extension tube by Kir Fanis.

Just got my first Provari two days ago. Black satin mini with extension and two of each battery. Loving it so far. The 18350 battery lasts longer than I expected. I personaly like the feel of it with the extension on. Love the tear drops as well. Something strange happened last night though. I turned her on and went directly into the ohms reading feture and the device read the ohms and started fireing off the atomizer. Freaked me out! is this normal? I may have to start a thread on this.

The transform setup looks cool but I diden't know you could remove the top dotted portion of the Provari. What's the deal with that?

The provari powers the coil when you do a battery or resistance test.

You can't. You just use this on top.

Quick update w/ some pics with the BG-Gen III RBA. It's a cool little gadget. No leaks at all (and when I say at all I mean AT ALL), very good taste and clouds of vapour. Prepped with 0.18 mm (is this 30 gauge in US standart?) kantal + 500 mesh wick at 1.5ohm. Real steam machine.

Mind the drip tip, it's the Mini vivi nova standart one - still looking for a good tip under 20$.
