I haven't tried the disposable ones but gosh their expensive. I did get some BLU cartos, but I don't care for them. I don't feel like I am getting enough vapor when I use them even though I have plenty on exhale. I ended up cracking and getting a pack of cigs when my course work and son stressed me to the max the other day. My parts come in from MVS today though so I should be back in full force. And I got me a vivi nova in that pack. :) I hope I like it. I have a total of 10 various replacement heads/bases. I am hoping that will tie me over for at least till the middle of May. Mid-May this semester will be over, thank goodness, and a load of stress will be lifted. 18 course hours has taken its toll on me. My sociology class turned out to be a pain in the ....... Not what I needed with a composition english in the same semester.

Anyways!! I should be back to vaping today! Jumping back on the horse and running like hell!!! :vapor:

You should be good now. The Nova is tried and true, and a solid part in a vape arsenal. Remember to always keep the wick wet by tilting, especially when juice gets low in the tank.

And i feel you on the semester. Cant go by fast enough. I love game theory to death but no way in hell im going to class at 9am. Dont know how you do it with 3 kids.

Its kinda funny you look somewhat like one of my best friends from home. Shes 2 years older though i think, and one of those people you can never imagine with a kid. So now my brain is putting both of you together and picture her with 3 little kids... Ahhh at least i make myself laugh.

Here's an in depth video by PB on the Vivi. Quite long but explains everything perfectly. Realize he using the larger 3.5 ml Vivi. For looks you may want to add a sleeve to hide the threads:

That's what I need. A sleeve. Got in a Mini Vivi Nova to try out and it works great but looks so goofy on the Twist. Just bugs me the way it looks. :)

Fixed that for ya...

Yeah, I'm pretty fanatical about it myself. At least tissue paper wipe the contacts every time I switch cartos or tank or whatever. I know eGos (eGoes? eGo's?) are sealed but liquids just don't make battery contacts happy. So it means I gots rolls o' toilet paper in odd places. That's prob'bly the least weird thing about me so oh well. :)

hi.
I know you've probably tried this but you never mentioned that you did so far. This caught me out too so I'll mention it just in case you're a numpty like me. I too thought that my spinner had died and trawled the web for any information on this problem
Did you know that the spinner has a 5-click on/off feature?
I didn't.
5 little clicks and it should be working again.
If you're not a numpty like me.
Apologies.
If you are.
You are welcome:) and I'm a superstar:toast:

Closest vendor that may have parts is about 2 1/2hrs from here. There is a vendor that sells juice about 25-30min from here but i'll have to call and see if they have parts. I doubt they do though since it is a "smoke shop" that deals mainly in tobacco products and not ecigs.

Yeah I'm surprised nothing's happening in Lafayette. And New Orleans seems to only have one.

Funny thought. If it hadn't been for the storm, I'd either have stayed in New Orleans or settled in Lafayette (love Lafayette, better than New Orleans actually) so about now I could've been thinking, "oh, hey, what if I opened a shop?"

Hm... coffee and vapor shop... that could be fun. :)

(But no. I ended up back here where I said I'd never return. Frickin' hurricane.)

I have been very vigilant about tilting to keep top feeder wicks wet. That's part of the reason I couldn't figure out why I was having so much trouble trying to vape. I felt like I was doing everything I was supposed to do

I am in online CALL courses through a State University near me. It's a program for older students with kids or jobs who can't physically take classes on campus do to home and work demands. It is VERY stressful with three kids, but i've managed. I just hope I get my 4.0 again this semester. 15hrs last semester, 18hrs this semester, and 15hrs next semester. I have to get my degree though cause I don't want to stay at home and a plain vanilla job is not gonna pay for the cost of daycare for three kids. I would have to pay to work.

I bet that is quite a picture. lol I would have been a party girl if my family didn't have a history of fertility issues. I decided to have children young in fear of not being able to have any at all. BUT, I will be in my late 30s when they can tend to their selves and we can go do as we please. :)

Haha! That's funny! Ok, ok, not so funny really. That was not the issue with the batteries unfortunately. I have used the 5-click feature when I have it laying somewhere the kids may be able to reach it. The problem was every time I would attempt to unlock the battery, the button immediately started flashing for a few seconds like it was telling me, I'm not going do anything for you! No clue what their problems were but it's odd that they both did it at the same time and are both now working. :)

I <3 Lafayette as well. We were going to move to the outskirts, probably the Broussard area, but we have land available to us in the country near Crowley and may even end up moving your way depending on my husband's job. I do have to say though, I miss San Antonio. I lived there for about 4 months after my daughter was born 15 weeks early while I was there. It feels like home.

Coffee and vapor shop... mmmm sounds like my kind of place. :) I just found my first local on here today! He is from Alexandria.

I should mention that the Novas are actually very good to practice building your coils with. Thats how i started. Tutorials are on Youtube as always, one i can recommend is PBusardo's.

Yeah i figured you were in an online program, pretty impossible to sit in lectures with that much on your hands. And good for you for having the will power to do it; i sleep through most classes (well math lectures are not all that essential...). Guess i dont know how good i have it huh? :D

Dear god i cant imagine having your first baby at 21. I still fight over food with my 5 year old brother. Usually lose too..

Really? I seem to be the other way round. Mom's side of the family go back generations in Texas. So much so I'm third generation born in Houston. I'm not even sure how far back it goes but it's at least five generations in Texas. Dad's family is from DeRidder and has a long history with the Lake Charles area. To the point of ancestors of mine being one of the founding, pioneer families that built Lake Charles. There's even a Bilbo street there (which I discovered before I knew about the connection).

I seem to fit Louisiana, especially Cajun country, better than Texas where I grew up. Go figure?

Worked Coushatta for years (actually was on the opening team). All I know about Crowley is from passing through on my way too and from Lafayette. Heh, mostly because of taking back roads from Eunice and stopping at the, ahem, drive through? :)

(Used to crack me up when they came up with the "closed container" being tape over the lid but the straw sticking through)

Did not care for New Orleans back then. So I had low expectations when I landed there. Ended up becoming fond of the quirky little city. Found myself getting tired of moving and began thinking I'd moved my last time.

Katrina had something to say about that though. Sigh.

Came here to be close to relatives while picking up the pieces then the economy nose dived. Oops. I still stubbornly, almost eight years later insist on thinking of this as temporary but I get the feeling I may be fooling myself...
