Did this happen to anyone else? I'm going to contact them as soon as they go online, they hired new CS reps.
Not going to lie, pretty sad right now hahaha
Looks identical to mine. What specifically is wrong with the button?
Roger that. Mine looks like that also. Looking closer I also noticed that one of the buttons appears smaller and a little more rounded than the other just like mine. I had thought it was intentional to serve as tactile feedback (you know...during a power outage or some such so you can tell which button you're pressing).
Got mine from smoktek and it works flawlessly despite the odd button appearance. One of my co-workers bought his from Vapor Break also. I'll take a peek at it tomorrow to see if his is the same.
Regardless it appears to be a minor cosmetic issue. Shouldn't effect operation (at least it doesn't affect mine).
Woo! Fixed it pretty easily, didn't have to buy a hemostat. GENTLY reach up with ic extractor tweezers (part of most cheap computer toolkits) and give it a twist. Be super super careful or you can cut traces on the board (rendering it useless) or pull parts off (rendering it useless) or even break it (rendering it ..you get the idea.)
You can also overtwist it, making the problem shift sides or breaking the buttons themselves (thereby rendering it..yeah.)
Interesting that you got yours from a different vendor and have the same issue. Do you both have the V1? Or V2?

One is flat the other is round and longer. I have a Black Chrome VAMO I got from VaporBreak and ExhaleVapors as well, and they both have the long round button. VaporBreak has been pretty good with their CS, very responsive, I'm sure they'll come through. Also I wanted to mention, aside from the bottons, the build on VaporBreak's VAMO is better than ExhaleVapors, my tanks actually sit flush, and the thread isn't bent.
Edit: Oh yeah, the right round button also doesn't click like the left, it sounds like its not sitting properly
